Hillary Clinton has written a new book. Something Lost, Something Gained: Reflections on Life, Love, and Liberty is due out in mid-September, roughly eight years after the author suffered a health episode and nearly collapsed on the campaign trail in Manhattan.
We regret to inform you that, per the results of a Washington Free Beacon analysis, the promotional materials for Hillary's forthcoming book are dangerously misleading at best. The author's photo on the cover image, for example, has been deceptively edited beyond all recognition. Our analysts were unable to verify the identity of the individual who appears in the image.
Given the appropriate caution that media outlets have taken with respect to suspicious material—including the Associated Press's decision in March to retract a "manipulated" photo of Kate Middleton—the Free Beacon is refusing to publish the photo without including the following crucial context to enhance our readers' ability to discern fact from fiction.

Hugh Hefner once said the airbrushing of photography of his era was incorrectly assumed by people to be physically enhancing when it was only used to improve skin texture as from acne scars or uneven shades of color.
The Hillary project must have kept technical staff working for weeks.
Something lost. Is she going to write about how she lost her virginity to Web Hubbell, and had his love child? Or how she lost her Rose Law Firm billing records for all those years? How she lost $850,000 from her blind trust because she had to pay Paula Jones for Bill’s sexual harassment? How she and Bill lost Terry McAuliffe’s financial offer to guarantee the mortgage on their Chappaqua House? Is she going to talk about how she lost her footing, falling up and down stairs, even breaking her toe one time? How she lost the 2016 election against Trump, and hasn’t been able to get over it?

Is it true that our military interrogators were charged with war crimes after using pictures of her to get terrorists to break?
If you remember the TV show Moonlighting, Cybill Shephard was often filmed with a light piece of gauze over the camera lens. Gave her an almost halo effect but it was also to reduce contrast similar to airbrushing but without the arduous work of doing it frame by frame for an entire show.
And yeah that’s what airbrushing was supposed to do but this here photo is so overdone it’s almost a blur. They could have used a stock photo from the 1990s or early 2000s or something.
