The government schools have ceased catastrophically to be Protestant. Accordingly, Christians of any stripe who take it seriously find them unsuitable for educating their children. Better to hang out with the “wrong” sort of Christians, than with pagan perverts.
Agreed. Even families who were not Christian, such as Jewish families and atheists, joined the Protestant homeschool groups. However, some Protestants agree with the Democrats. Luckily, homeschool world works like the free market: If we didn’t agree with a group, we could take our children and our money to another group. With public school, we’re all stuck paying for it, even if we don’t agree with it, even if we don’t send our kids.
