No, he did not say that. And in 2016 like everyone else in the world and even here, Putin hoped for Trump who didn’t want Russia as an enemy, but he expected Hillary to win. Nobody thought Trump would win. So they stayed out it except for a few click farms that played on both sides to make money.
There are so many lies about 2016 it’s ridiculous. Russia did not “hack” DNC emails, Seth Rich did and got whacked. The pissgate “dossier” had no Russian “source”. Steele created it right in his office, Skirpol was his employee and associate. He gave it a little Russian flavor. Brits sprayed him with fentanyl, not nerve gas.
Russia wanted Trump because they aren’t crazy. But they like everyone else was certain she would win. So they started out and hoped for the best.
Some of the funniest proof of this is it supposedly Russia hacked into the DNC emails and released all kinds of embarrassing crap about Hillary, but they were really supporting Hillary and working for Trump. Then you point out supposedly the Russians released the piss gate dossier against Trump.
