Just answer me one question: after the 2016 election the Democrats said that Russia intervened to support Trump in the election. That was thoroughly debunked and proven to be the exact opposite. So answer me this question: Do you still believe the Democrat accusations that Russia was intervening to support Trump?

He could and probably would entice Putin without a threat of more and more war and weakening the United States.

First of all Putin has come out and said that. Second, Russia tried to get Biden elected and Hillary elected the last two times. Lastly, Putin knows that Trump might actually confront him. Obama/Biden has promised to support him.
I’m sorry but that’s coming from a deeply uneducated place. Obama promised Putin in 2012 he would be more flexible to help him after he got reelected. They’ve always been on his side. Biden is president now he has a contractual obligation to support NATO. But if you watch him that’s not what he wants to be doing. And there’s a guy on free Republic who has a list of all the things that Biden has done since he’s been elected to help Russia. You need to be watching with a more keen eye.
In that case Russia has gotten what they want from Biden and they will quit while they’re ahead with Trump.

I only read the article after my comment, I then saw that part. That part is crazy.
No, he did not say that. And in 2016 like everyone else in the world and even here, Putin hoped for Trump who didn’t want Russia as an enemy, but he expected Hillary to win. Nobody thought Trump would win. So they stayed out it except for a few click farms that played on both sides to make money.
There are so many lies about 2016 it’s ridiculous. Russia did not “hack” DNC emails, Seth Rich did and got whacked. The pissgate “dossier” had no Russian “source”. Steele created it right in his office, Skirpol was his employee and associate. He gave it a little Russian flavor. Brits sprayed him with fentanyl, not nerve gas.
Russia wanted Trump because they aren’t crazy. But they like everyone else was certain she would win. So they started out and hoped for the best.
Some of the funniest proof of this is it supposedly Russia hacked into the DNC emails and released all kinds of embarrassing crap about Hillary, but they were really supporting Hillary and working for Trump. Then you point out supposedly the Russians released the piss gate dossier against Trump. The Washington DC and media answer for this obvious contradiction is that they were just trying to so general discord. Only an idiot would believe it…
Trump is right. The Russians have the momentum in Ukraine. No reason for them to agree to a ceasefire. But if we give the Ukrainians everything they need plus more tanks and F-15s, that'll force the Russians to retreat.
