US supreme court to weigh in on transgender healthcare ban for minors

The US supreme court agreed on Monday to decide the legality of a Republican-backed ban in Tennessee on gender-affirming medical care for transgender minors, as the justices waded into another contentious issue implicating LGBTQ+ rights.

They took up an appeal by Joe Biden’s administration of a lower court’s decision upholding a ban on medical treatments including hormones and surgeries for minors experiencing gender dysphoria in Tennessee. The court will hear the case in its next term, which begins in October.

So, a girl can get her boobs cut off at 15 but in order to buy cigarettes she must be 21 or to vote or join the military she must be 18 ?

Look at all of the things minors cannot do now until they are considered to be adults, yet the left would allow impressionable “minds filled with mush”, as Rush used to say, make a life altering decision as a child. IMHO they should have to wait until they’re 18 years old, the age of consent.
