The Lockbit ransomware group announced that it had breached the systems of Federal Reserve of the United States and exfiltrated 33 TB of sensitive data, including “Americans’ banking secrets.”
The Lockbit ransomware group added the Federal Reserve to the list of victims on its Tor data leak site and threatened to leak the stolen data on 25 June, 2024 20:27:10 UTC.
The group hasn’t published any sample of the stolen data.
“Federal banking is the term for the way the Federal Reserve of the United States distributes its money. The Reserve operates twelve banking districts around the country which oversee money distribution within their respective districts. The twelve cities which are home to the Reserve Banks are Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, Richmond, Atlanta, Dallas, Saint Louis, Cleveland, Chicago, Minneapolis, Kansas City, and San Francisco.” reads the announcement published by the group on its leak site.
“33 terabytes of juicy banking information containing Americans’ banking secrets.
You better hire another negotiator within 48 hours, and fire this clinical idiot who values Americans’ bank secrecy at $50,000.”

Maybe *they* will do that audit we’ve long been waiting for...
Feds have all of Bankman-Freid’s records, yet not a dime of the millions he stole from clients and gave to democrats has been returned.
Feds have all of Epstein’s records, videos, surveillance tapes, yet not a single arrest of any of the hundreds of child molesters who gang raped underaged girls.
I’d wager these records are real and expose hundreds of rich, famous, & political types with tax fraud, embezzlment, bribery, etc., which is why it too will be swept away and never again mentioned.
It might be worth paying them for the extra service.
“values Americans’ bank secrecy at $50,000.”
Why not just print 5 or 50 million and pay them off?
We could sic ‘em on breaking into our gold vaults for the complete audit experience.
Password:”FJB-my-10%” was not very good.
So the banks are force to give information on everyone to the government. And now it has been leaked to the criminal world. I expect a lot of people to find out over time to find their bank accounts emptied.
Someone needs to crate the internet equivalent of a Predator drone that goes right up the wazoo of these hackers.
"The Lockbit ransomware group announced that it had breached the systems of Federal Reserve of the United States and exfiltrated 33 TB of sensitive data, including “Americans’ banking secrets.”"
If I understand the above situation correctly, the main reason that Federal Reserve allegedly has "Americans' banking secrets" in the first place is because the repealable 16th Amendment (direct taxes) basically gives feds a free pass to collect such data imo.
The states really screwed up when they gave the feds that power imo.
Also, if alleged breach of Federal Reserve network by Lockbit is true, then nearing fours years after alleged vote-counting problems in 2020, this claim by Lockbit lends credibility to the concern that internet accessible voting machines are not tamper-proof imo.
Patriot voters need to effectively "impeach and remove" worthless career Congress in November, supporting hopeful Trump 47 with a new, Constitution-respecting Congress, not only so that he will not be a lame duck president from the first day of his second term, but will support him to quickly finish draining the swamp.
