Ukraine launched ATACMS against targets in Crimea.
A USAF recon drone had been spotted in international waters off Sevastapol about three hours earlier.
It seems likely that the US is sharing targeting data with Ukraine. The claim, though, that the US is directing the strikes lacks foundation.
“The claim, though, that the US is directing the strikes lacks foundation.”
Ridiculous !
Didn’t Matt Bracken warn of this a few weeks ago on “Coffee and a Mike,” saying that the finger on the trigger of this system had to be American, British, or one other nation that escapes me at the moment?

“…lacks foundation”. Hmmmm, imagine if Russia provided numerous highly accurate and effective anti-ship missiles to Yemen’s Houthis along with effective training on the use of those missiles and then provided CONTINUING real time ship targeting data. And further imagine that the Houthis then effectively began sinking ships of nations friendly to the US. And then further imagine each time the Houthis sank a ship Russia surveillance drones were seen in the area. What would your suspicion be? Just sayin’.
From 18 days ago, on “Coffee with a Mike” podcast....Matt Bracken discussing the possibilities presented....
The key act of war is the providing of the targeting intelligence. Whoever actually keyed in the coordinates is of no material difference.
Oh really, what would foundation be?
