Colin Hinkle, a professional drone pilot, noticed the red dye mixing with the green water of the fountain early Saturday morning and saw spray paint on the ground that read, “Gaza is bleeding” and “Stop the genocide.” 'That’s when I realized it was a protest,’ Hinkle said.

Buckingham Fountain is closed “until further notice” after vandals dyed the Grant Park landmark’s pool water red and spray-painted messages opposing the war in Gaza overnight.
Chicago Park District officials announced the closure Saturday morning, saying the city agency will perform maintenance to restore the fountain to its previous condition.
The amount of dye needed to color the 1.5 million gallons of water that circulate through Chicago’s most recognizable landmark doesn’t just come in one gallon containers. Not even close. So who’s watching to see maybe half-a-dozen people hauling two gallons each or on the outside, two of three five-gallon buckets?

The Chicago Park District has not updated the description. Buckingham Fountain is located in Grant Park near Columbus Drive and Congress Parkway says the description.
The woke leftists in the Chicago City Council renamed Congress Parkway “Ida B. Wells Drive.” The Columbus Drive may soon be renamed as well since Lori Lightfoot removed the Christopher Columbus statue from Grant Park and the Chicago Public Schools want to rename the Columbus elementary school for Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Next someone will object to Ulysses S. Grant having briefly owned a slave while in Missouri who was given to him by his in-laws. Grant freed the man shortly afterwards.
Oh cool thanks. Everything I said applies to us also.
