During World War II the allies, including Russia, absolutely destroyed Germany, largely without any regard whatsoever for civilian casualties. Certainly the Russians had none after what the Germans did to their population, and our massive bombing raids against German cities, the best example of which is the fire bombing of Dresden, prove beyond the shadow of doubt that we were not afraid to kill innocent civilians by the tens of thousands. Once the war was over, Germany was effectively occupied for 45 years, until the Soviet Empire broke apart. As detailed in the subject article and many other places, there was a thorough program of denazification in the years immediately after the war. That was all justified under the theory that the Nazi ideology was so evil and uncompromising, and such a tremendous danger to every other country, that it had to be destroyed, root and branch.
Well, what is Israel facing today? We all know what happened on October 7. Hamas, and a larger number of civilians on an opportunistic basis, crossed the border and gruesomely murdered 1200 people. They also wounded thousands and took approximately 250 people hostage, most of whom are still being held hostage, whether alive or not. They acted in a way that was, if possible, even worse than the Nazis behaved during World War II. Why do I, someone of Jewish heritage going back as far as I can possibly trace, say that? Because the Nazis at least had a tiny amount of conscience, they understood that what they were doing was wrong, as evidenced by the fact that they tried to cover up their crimes. They didn’t make films of what they did and broadcast them to the world. They didn’t gleefully celebrate the mass murder of Jews, gypsies, and many others during the Holocaust. No, they kept quiet about it and tried to cover up their massive crimes against humanity. Not so with Hamas and the Arabs living in Gaza. They were proud of what they did, and they still are. They say without reservation that they would do this again if they get the chance. All of that therefore begs the question, “Why is Israel being restrained, condemned, and having its leaders indicted for “war crimes” when they are attempting to do something very similar to what the allies did during World War II? Oh, but wait, there’s a huge difference: the Israelis are going out of their way, endangering and losing the lives of many of its soldiers, because they are warning Gazan civilians about when and where they are going to be bombing or attacking, so that those civilians can evacuate the area. They are using more expensive precision bombs to minimize collateral damage and civilian casualties. Ironically (or perhaps not) the very precision kits for “dumb” bombs that enables Israel to precisely bomb targets is what is being denied to them by the Biden administration. It is as if the Biden administration wants there to be more casualties amongst civilians in Gaza - JUST LIKE HAMAS ITSELF WANTS. In my mind, there is only one possible explanation for why much of the world is condemning Israel, and for why the Biden administration (packed full of leftist hacks) are treating Israel differently, implementing a clear double standard, and that reason can be summed up in one word: anti-Semitism.
Israel is going to be condemned, no matter what it does, because much of the world wants it to just go away. Israel should, therefore, do whatever the hell it wants to do, and screw the opinions of the rest of the world. In the end, all that matters is whether you win or lose. If Israel loses, virtually all of its citizens will die in the process, and Jews around the world will be considerably more vulnerable, just as they were prior to the reestablishment of Israel as an independent country in 1948. Israel should stop trying to justify its existence, and just do whatever it takes to survive and prosper.

How do you destroy ideas? Gazans are Hamas. Pure and simple! Unless you’re prepared to subject Gazans to the same treatment with which the CCP applies to Uyghurs, you have an insoluble problem!
