How many nations has Russia invaded since 1991?

Don’t know. Ask NATO. Since they are aggressively responsible for Russia taking these pro-active measures.

Read up on the Cuban missile crisis.

Am already quite well-versed about that subject, thank you!

President Kennedy of the USA did not want Russian missiles in Cuba. He set up a naval blockade to prevent Russians from being able to threaten the USA. To avoid nuclear war, the Russians backed down and the Americans agreed to remove corresponding missiles from Turkey.

Still doesn't explain why only the Ukrainian side should have to accept restrictions on missile payloads and ranges.

Russia invaded Georgia because of NATO?

Yes. Indirectly. Any possible expansion/aggression is a threat to Russia.

Map of Nato showing the dates various countries joined the alliance.

That's more a statement of Russian paranoia than NATO policy.

Precisely!

Like the joke about the psychiatrist who gives a patient a stack of Rohrschach ink blots to describe. The patient sees nothing but naked ladies in lascivious positions. The psychiatrist explains to the patient that he is suffering from "sex obsession." The patient replies, "Me?! You're the one with all the dirty pictures!"
