General President of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Sean O’Brien has formally accepted former President Donald Trump’s invitation to address the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Trump announced on Friday.
“Sean O’Brien, the General President of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, has accepted my invitation to speak at the RNC Convention in Milwaukee,” Trump said in a Truth Social post, announcing the labor union president’s acceptance.
Trump continued:
Our GREAT convention will unify Americans and demonstrate to the nation’s working families they come first. When I am back in the White House, the hardworking Teamsters, and all working Americans, will once again have a country they can afford to live in and be respected around the world.

How bad are Biden and the Democrats when now even the Teamsters are getting friendly with Trump?
And not just the Teamsters rank and file. This guy is one of the big dogs.
why? is it going to endorse Trump?? make a contribution maybe???
Maybe the Teamster’s leadership is finally listening to the workers who pay their salaries, and benefits through their dues.
Remember when Cronkite switched sides during the Vietnam War?
It was Newt Gingrich, who said last night on “Hannity,” that Trump’s role is to break up the FDR coalition that has ruled for 92 years and create a new Trump coalition for governance.
Strange bedfellows.
I think I read he was speaking at both conventions.
Leftist outlets having a panty twist, over this. 😂
Teamsters endorsed Nixon, Reagan and Bush Sr.
I could see them endorsing Trump.
Would be huge in places like Michigan and Pennsylvania.
Teamsters drive trucks (at least that’s how they started).
Trucks use gasoline or diesel (fossil) fuel.
The rats want ELECTRIC vehicles.
An electric truck would have to stop how many times coast-to-coast?
Why in the world would a Teamster Pres support the rats?
The Teamsters had a lot of work during Trump’s term.
Not so much during obama’s 3rd term.
He’s up now!
Exactly. The union bosses have almost always been 100% lined up behind the Dems. For them to even speak at the RNC is something that probably hasn’t happened in decades. That should terrify the dems.
Mayne not all Teamsters, but thousands got laad off practically on Day 1 when Biden’s handlers cancelled the Keystone XL pipeline.
Biden screwed over a lot of labor when he did that. In the Beaumont/Port Arthur area of Texas there are a lot of union workers in the refineries and chem plants. The Keystone was supposed to deliver a lot of Canadian crude to the refineries there. Several of the plants were in the process of expanding to handle the new workload, then biden cancelled the project, which put a whole lot of union folks out of work.
