Pouring a couple hundred billion dollars into Ukraine didn’t help at all of course. Just because Russia miscalculated doesn’t mean the members of the west did not want this war, and hoped for it. This was years in the making.
My point is how could it be that the west wanted to provoke Russia into a war that they all thought Russia would win in a few days? As Spock would say: It is illogical.
