Saboteurs is my guess. Damage infrastructure on the inside to keep us busy as they attack Taiwan.

“ same people who were last seen opening illegal police stations here in the U.S.”

I can tell you none of these illegal police station Chicoms snuck in to the country. They came 100% legally, were welcomed with open arms and hobnob with people like Mayor Adams of New York or Judy Chu, Congresswoman from California.

So who or why they are sneaking others is mysterious. I’d like to read about I but can’t read more than first few lines of the article.

These theories are way too complicated. China remains a fairly poor country. People talk about China’s slave wages but are somehow surprised when Chinese migrants flood across the Rio Grande. The fact is Chinese wages are fairly close to Mexico’s, Brazil’s, Argentina’s and Russia’s, all of which contribute significant numbers of illegal aliens.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(nominal)_per_capita

Why the surge now and not previously? Because Biden is letting millions of border crossers in, so long as they make it to the border. Why not a simple flight to JFK or LAX? Because without a hard to get visa, you can’t even get on the plane. The airline gets fined for passengers without valid visas, so they check and bounce anyone lacking. Thanks to Joe Biden, if you make it across the Rio Grande, visa or not, you’re in. South Africans, Indians, Russians - it’s like the second coming of Ellis Island, minus the color bar.

[Estimates of the number of people fleeing Russia since the launch of Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine vary widely, from hundreds of thousands to several million. More clearly known is that some have made for Central Asia, or Georgia and Armenia, where lax visa systems have provided temporary reprieve for Russians to apply for residency within the European Union.

Others have traveled much farther. In 2022, more than 23,000 Russian nationals attempted to enter the United States via the southern border with Mexico, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection data, representing a fourfold increase on the year preceding the war. Russians seeking refuge along the Mexico route use channels on the Telegram messaging app to locate Russian- and Uzbek-speaking smuggling networks operating in Turkey and Central America, who facilitate their moves, according to international nongovernmental organizations. In 2020, there were only 467 cases of Russians trying to cross into the U.S.

Having initially suspended deportations to Russia in the wake of the invasion, President Joe Biden’s administration quietly resumed its former position in March, around the same time that the number of Russian entries reached a record high of 30,500. The Russian influx has contributed to the growing number of different nationalities seeking refuge in the U.S. — which, despite various border crossing restrictions, peaked last year.]

If this NY Times profile is typical, many are blue collar migrants working blue collar jobs stateside:

https://www.nytimes.com/2024/03/06/nyregion/chinese-immigrants-new-york-city.html

Ultimately, the attractive nuisance at work here is a reluctance to deport illegal aliens, a reluctance that Biden has extended to murderers and rapists. People are selling their homes and other possessions, betting it all on showing up and staying put forever.

https://www.nytimes.com/2024/01/31/us/us-immigration-asylum-border.html
[Some six million Venezuelans have fled their troubled country, the largest population displacement in Latin America’s modern history. Migrants from Africa, Asia and South America are mortgaging their family land, selling their cars or borrowing money from loan sharks to embark on long, often treacherous journeys to reach the United States.

In December alone, more than 300,000 people crossed the southern border, a record number.

It is not just because they believe they will be able to make it across the 2,000 mile southern frontier. They are also certain that once they make it to the United States they will be able to stay.

Forever.

And by and large, they are not wrong.

The United States is trying to run an immigration system with a fraction of the judges, asylum officers, interpreters and other personnel that it needs to handle the hundreds of thousands of migrants crossing the border and flocking to cities around the country each year. That dysfunction has made it impossible for the nation to expeditiously decide who can remain in the country and who should be sent back to their homeland.

“I don’t know anyone who has been deported,” Carolina Ortiz, a migrant from Colombia, said in an interview in late December at an encampment outside Jacumba Hot Springs, about 60 miles southeast of San Diego and a stone’s throw from the hulking rust-colored barrier that separates the United States from Mexico.

For most migrants, the United States still represents the land of opportunity. Many come seeking work, and they are going to do whatever it takes to work, even if that means filing a weak asylum claim, several lawyers said.]

This kind of logjam is why we don’t let people without visas enter the country at airports. But Biden has lawlessly opened the border with Mexico. My guess is his people have legally crossed their t’s and dotted their i’s, so there’s nothing Trump can realistically do to him after taking office. But Trump can definitely deport hordes of illegals. Whether he does so remains to be seen. At minimum, he can shut the borders, turn off the spigot. Merely ending the uncontrolled influx would be an improvement over a second Biden term.

Random social media posts aren’t evidence. Chinese illegal aliens are perhaps 1-2% of the total influx of as much as 3m illegals a year. That’s not a huge %, given that China is perhaps 20% of the global population. As of 2023, a similar number of Russians were entering through Mexico, despite a population 1/10 China’s. Not everything’s a centrally-directed master plan. People have been moving across borders for work since forever. In the 19th century, so many Orientals were heading across the Pacific, Congress came up with a law to deport them at points of entry.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_Exclusion_Act
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geary_Act

If Chinese migrants are felt to be especially undesirable, the solution is to renew the Chinese Exclusion Act and the Geary Act and denaturalize and deport Chinese Americans en masse, not engage in these strange contortions that suggest anomalies where there are none. I suppose every oak tree starts out an acorn, and one canard is as good as another, but this one fails Occam’s Razor.

The larger point is that if this is directed by the Chinese government, it’s a miserable failure. Almost a million Mexican illegals are crossing over annually.

https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2024/02/15/migrant-encounters-at-the-us-mexico-border-hit-a-record-high-at-the-end-of-2023/

China has a dozen times Mexico’s population. Just based on similar income levels in Mexico and China, without any Chinese government help, you’d expect the annual Chinese influx into the US to be 12x Mexico’s, or 10m illegals. And yet it’s a trivial tens of thousands. If they’re putting money into this, it’s largely wasted.

With just a few thousand trained troops.

With proper planning one to turn this country up side down.

That’s not mere social media and the solution of course is to throw all illegals out, though with priority by risk, but I have a hard time taking your pretending that China isn’t up to local military infiltration here to mere ignorance on your part.

Again, I’ll guess most Freepers will see through it.

A plane ticket to JFK or LAX is simpler, cheaper and less tortuous. These people are spending many thousands of dollars to go through very dangerous cartel-ridden areas. If these are indeed carefully selected spec ops personnel, that’s maybe $100K of training and, more important, hard to replace natural talent they are placing in Latin American regions where heavily-armed cartel personnel patrol and kill people for any or no reason whatsoever. Why would they chance that?

Real life is not a Rambo movie. Lone Survivor Marcus Luttrell saw 3 of his SEAL teammates killed because he was in a remote area not fully covered by close air support. A Chinook dispatched to assist his team saw 39 men killed because of a golden BB.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Afghanistan_Boeing_Chinook_shootdown

Chinese tourists and business travelers can enter the country and leave, or not. There are no minders watching them. Going across the Rio Grande is pointless, expensive and dangerous. That’s why the entire thesis is off-the-wall. You’re looking at the least likely candidates. The most likely ones are students, tourists, business travelers and military attaches traveling under diplomatic cover, hundreds of thousands a year, not tens of thousands.

https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Statistics/Non-Immigrant-Statistics/NIVDetailTables/FY23NIVDetailTable.pdf

And, given the sizeable budgets available, it would be better for them to travel, as Israeli operatives working abroad always do, under genuine third country passports with accompanying aliases, which are easily purchased for some nominal sum ($10K - $20K) if the right palms are greased. There is no reason to risk that lives of highly-trained and -selected operatives by pulling a stunt like having them travel through cartel territory.

Repeating the idiocy doesn’t make it any less glaringly so.

Then again, maybe you want to show your minders that you are doing your job.

Russia had plenty of these in Ukraine. They got the jump on the Ukrainians, had superior equipment, training and numbers and were right across the border. Over 2 years later, they’re still bogged down in positions gained through a surprise attack in force, not saboteurs. The place to look for sleepers is the hundreds of thousands of Chinese per year who obtain valid business, tourist, immigrant and diplomatic visas, not the hard luck cases who sold their earthly possessions or went into hock so they could afford the difficult passage through cartel territory.

It is the Democratic Party organizing it.

Apparently with help from the Chinese Communists, but they could not do it without the Democrats on their side.
