I think there is a fine line between having an alias but still on the government servers versus having something like a public gmail like Fauci and his people used to get around FOIA.

Hillary was running her own server in a bathroom in her home where she routed her State Department emails to, so that was even less secure. Obama even sent emails to Hillary's private server.

When the staff responds to FOIA requests where all the email records of Joe Biden (for instance) are requested, do they gather the emails from all of his aliases? Do they know his emails by his real name and not just the alias?

I could see a fine line if the alias was not able to be successful in hiding emails because staff know to include the alias emails with any request for emails by the person. If the staff doesn’t know the aliases it would be totally different in my view, and a deliberate attempt to obstruct justice if an investigation wasn’t given the records under the alias.
