Not just falsifying a government record, but falsifying a record in furtherance of another crime.
What crime, you might ask?
Let's talk to Kerry's step-son Chris Heinz, who was Hunter Biden's business partner at Rosemont Seneca while Kerry was Secretary of State.
You have to understand what the purpose of Rosemont Seneca was. Rosemont Seneca was set up by Hunter Biden and Chris Heinz as a front for peddling the Biden and Kerry "brands". Rosemont Seneca was positioned as a private equity investment hedge fund that was initially seeded with money from the Heinz family alternative investment fund, Rosemont Capital.
Hunter Biden then went to China and landed deals with the Chinese government through various Chinese shell companies, eventually connecting with Jonathan Li of BHR Partners (Shanghai) Equity Investment Fund Management Co., Ltd (aka BHR) [see bottom of post for breaking news on BHR], which is controlled by Bank of China Limited whose focus is on mergers and acquisitions, and investments in Chinese state-owned enterprises.
Rosemont Seneca then acquired a 10% stake in BHR Partners, and Hunter Biden was given a position on the Board of Directors of BHR Partners.
Here are just a few examples that we know of about how Hunter Biden was laundering the money to Joe Biden, by paying all of Joe's bills.

Devon Archer was a close friend of both Hunter Biden and Chris Heinz. Archer was made the Managing Director of Rosemont Seneca. During Devin Archer's testimony before Congress, he laid out the timeline for when Joe Biden was on telephone calls with Hunter Biden's clients:
According to the transcript released by the House:
The first reference in the transcript of Devon Archer puts the first phone call sometime in 2011. Rosemont Seneca was the basis for the call.
The next reference by Devon Archer places another phone call during Biden's trip to China in December, 2013. This call references Jonathan Li and BHR Partners.

5 Biden put his father on speakerphone during any of these interactions that you're just

10 dinner -- you know, dinners occasionally.
11 Q Can you tell us about those dinners?
12 A Yeah. I remember a dinner in Paris with a French energy company that
13 was -- we were speaking to an advisor, and then -- we were speaking to. And it was
14 really a Rosemont Seneca Advisors type of -- a Rosemont Seneca Advisors kind of a pitch,
15 at the end of the day. And there was a talk, and he said that we're at this -- you know,
16 we're at this restaurant in Paris, and he put him on the speaker. So that did happen.
17 There were other people there.
18 Q Who else was there?
19 A There was me, myself; Hunter; Eric Schwerin; and then the executives from
20 the French energy company.
21 Q Do you remember the name of that company?
22 A I'm sure you could find it. It was probably, like, a 2011, you know, trip
23 planning. But it was a very large French energy company.
"Before the spring of 2016 and after spring of 2013" would be exactly John Kerry's term as Secretary of State. We have all this evidence of how Hunter Biden was steering money to the Biden family, but the Kerry family has been kept out of the spotlight -- until now. I wonder what Kerry was doing with an alias email account? Chris Heinz left Rosemont Seneca in 2014 over disagreements with Hunter Biden joining the Board of Directors of Burisma in Ukraine.

4 A In you know, a dinner -- a dinner in -- with BHR, with Jonathan Li.
5 Q Where was that dinner?
6 A In Beijing, at, you know, some restaurant -- or Chengdu or something like
7 that. I don't remember the -- I don't remember specifics. This was just -- it was
8 not -- it was like a, you know -- especially with the time zone difference, there was -- you
9 know, there were meetings where his dad would call and he would be talking to him or
10 put him on speaker. I'm not going to -- you know, that's -- that happened.
5 Q One of the phone calls that you discussed with Vice President Biden on was
6 with an individual by the name of Jonathan Li.
7 A Yes.
8 Q Who is Jonathan Li?
9 A He is the CEO of BHR.
10 Q When was that phone call?
11 A That I don't recall. Just --
12 Q Do you remember the year?
13 A I don't. It would be before, you know, spring of '16 and after spring of
14 2013.
As you can see from Archer's testimony, 1) Eric Schwerin (who paid Hunter's bills for Joe) was present at the earliest Rosemont Seneca restaurant meetings where Joe Biden phoned in; 2) Joe Biden called into the restaurant meeting with Jonathan Li that eventually led to Hunter Biden's position on BHR's Board of Directors.
What should be clear by now is that ANY money that was paid to Hunter Biden via Rosemont Seneca was Chinese money passed through BHR Partners into Rosemont Seneca and then to Hunter Biden and Chris Heinz. Joe Biden was present (virtually) at the initial BHR meeting with Jonathan Li.

Hunter and James Biden were just referred to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution for making false statements to Congress regarding another shell company "Rosemont Seneca Bohai, LLC and its bank account that was the recipient of millions of dollars from foreign individuals and foreign entities who met with then-Vice President Biden..."
Rosemont Seneca Bohai is a corporate entity that was opened in Delaware on February 13, 2014, the day before a $3.5 million wire from Yelena Baturina, a Russian oligarch’s wife. The company was founded by Devon Archer, Christopher Heinz, and Hunter Biden.The company was renamed to BHR Partners (Shanghai) Equity Investment Fund Management Co., Ltd. on May 31, 2023.
