They needed a unity government. Gantz quit it, and signaled he wanted new elections and has a desire to unseat him - with pretty obvious support from Western capitols. So for now they are back to being political rivals instead of projecting unity. Not sure what the real upshot is, if Gantz quit he wouldn’t be in the war room anyway.
