“SF is number 10?? WTH”

##########

Someone not all that familiar with the English language confused “happy” with “gay”.

While Europe dominated the golden group, comprising 37 cities, one U.S. city made the coveted group: Minneapolis, Minnesota.

That's all I needed to know to show the report has highly flawed criteria with regards to the US cities.

From the article:

In total, 10 U.S. cities landed on The Happy City Index. Ranked among the ‘silver’ cities were Boston; Baltimore; and the District of Columbia. Bronze cities were San Francisco; Salt Lake City; Madison, Wisconsin; Pittsburgh; Rochester, Minnesota; and Portland, Oregon.

Crime-ridden, mis-managed Baltimore and Washington DC are considered "Happy Cities?"

Anyone look at the schools in those cities? Crime rates? Corruption?

Is happiness a good measure? happiness can change quickly.

Take the survey at the tax office or take the survey at the ice cream store.........................

They’re “happy” because they never have to seek out a bathroom. They just go on the sidewalks as long as they are careful to not crap on a BMW George Floyd or Pride mural painted on the sidewalks by RAT politicians.

The article lists all of these cities. Then it goes on to say that one cannot really statistically measure happiness.

Seems like these cities are “liberal paradises.” And most of the progressives I’ve met spend a lot of their time miserable.

San Francisco and Minneapolis make the list?

Well OK. Just because I wouldn't be happy there doesn't mean the people there aren't happy.

But I remain seriously skeptical of the whole list.

This list sounds like the exact opposite of reality.

The survey’s main criteria must have been most opiate consumption per capita followed by highest levels of election fraud.

Penn State University is in Happy Valley.

It’s not so happy for Graham Spanier and Jerry Sandusky though.

Seriously, Arlington, VA is number 1? It’s filled with meddlesome affluent leftards which are never happy.

The words “happy” and “gay” used to be more or less synonymous.

This list is 100% BS. No way are people in Baltimore and DC the “happiest”.

No way San Francisco is 10.

They had 56 murders last year, while San Jose had only 35.

Same size cities and crime stats are wildly different in every category
