Glad it wasn’t too bad a drive home. Pokey drivers can be an aggravation, though, when you want to get the drive over with. LOL

I figured Peaches would be your second shadow tonight. “You left me aaaaaall aloooooone, Mommy!” I hope he’ll let you get some sleep tonight.

No rain today. Just VERY hot. I waited until after 7:00 to make a store run and it had cooled down to 84 by then, which wasn’t too bad.
There’s a slight chance for showers tomorrow but we’ll see how that works out here. The corn could use a drink but it’s doing pretty well so far. The poor tiny soybeans in the field across the road are desperate.

They just won’t put 80s anywhere in the forecast or up chances for rain. There’s at least another week of this mess.

There was a BIG rainbow over your side of town a little while ago. It lasted a long time and the cam op was kind enough to leave the cam aimed in that direction for the duration.

Well, it’s still 87 here. It’s breezy, so it’s not awful, but my hair feels like straw again with this low humidity.

I hope you get some rain there before all the hard work the farmers have put into their crops doesn’t go to waste.

I think I’m going to finish this show and head out. I can barely keep my head up. See ya tomorrow when I feel more human. LOL!
