Putin offers truce if Ukraine exits Russian-claimed areas and drops NATO bid. Kyiv calls it 'absurd'

Russian President Vladimir Putin promised Friday to “immediately” order a cease-fire in Ukraine and begin negotiations if Kyiv started withdrawing troops from the four regions annexed by Moscow in 2022 and renounced plans to join NATO. Ukraine responded by calling Putin’s proposal “manipulative” and “absurd.”

Putin’s remarks came as Switzerland prepared to host scores of world leaders -- but not from Moscow -- this weekend to try to map out first steps toward peace in Ukraine.

They also coincided with a meeting of leaders of the Group of Seven leading industrialized nations in Italy and after the U.S. and Ukraine this week also signed a 10-year security agreement that Russian officials, including Putin, denounced as “null and void.”

It sounds like a Best and Final offer to me.

Ukrainian officials would be wise to take it, because a clear Russian victory will cost them their lives.

Yup, just think how things would calm down if common sense was applied instead of neocon rules.

We will be lucky to live through this....

As Bilken and the DIC whisper in Zelensky’s ear, “I’ll take total annihilation and World War III for ten billion dollars Alex.” Or something like that.

*Ukrainian officials would be wise to take it, because a clear Russian victory will cost them their lives.*

Russia would have to guarantee the territorial integrity of other nations Their word is no good so the fighting will have to continue. Another Northern Ireland would be in the works. Some people enjoy watching their young get killed.

What private assurances are the Ukes getting to be able to publicly dismiss this offer out of hand? What are Bidens handlers telling them?

Actually, Putin will be lucky to live through this.

And since most of you trolls work for him, well, it’s your fault then isn’t it? And we know how Putin deals with people who fail him.

Russia should be allowed to hold on to all of Russia that it held before invading Ukraine.

“It sounds like a Best and Final offer to me.”

...and the Western Media has been told to NOT REPORT IT (or least minimize the reporting), as it may drive lots of European men to realize that there is an alternative to being sent into the meat grinder when Ukraine runs out of warm bodies.

Translation: Putin offers to keep trying to destroy Ukraine unless Ukraine gives up and gives in to Putin.

They’re being ORDERED to reject the plan, just as they were 2 years ago. But too bad - the chance to END THE BLOODSHED is right there in front of them, but they won’t be allowed to accept it.

Putin: We’ll have peace if you give up what I want, I promise. Hitler: After the Sudetenland, I have no furhter territorial ambitions. History alrways repeats itself.

Russia held all of Crimea, ~50% of Donetsk, and ~50% of Lugansk provinces before Feb. 2022.
