With a willing media, they were able to sell the Biden/Harris ticket, who couldn’t draw a crowd to fill a gymnasium. I think they can sell just about anything to their side in order to “defend democracy” as they say. I just think they will always try to make the ticket “historic” with a woman at the top, and they will want to include at least one minority, they might go with two as that would be “historic”, if they can lock in states with high electoral votes (via who they pick), that is even better.
Historic with a woman at the top would have to include either a woman as VP, or an minority at VP, since we have already had Hillary with a white male at VP.
