The US and Ukraine are expected to sign a bilateral security pact on the sidelines of the G7 in Italy on Thursday, multiple people familiar with the matter told CNN, in a deal that lays out a path for the US’ long-term security relationship with Kyiv but that could also be undone by future US administrations.

The agreement follows months of negotiations between the US and Ukraine and is expected to commit the US for 10 years to continued training of Ukraine’s armed forces,

The G7 is becoming irrelevant. The new Sheriff in town, the Brics, are now larger in both members and real wealth.

All eyes on the new Sheriff, the Brics Summit is in October. More than 40 countries have applied for membership. Their member states sit on more than 65 percent of the world’s commodities, metals, acreage, etc….

Bye Bye G7, when you kicked Russia out of the G7 “ club” in 2014 over Crimea, you made your first mistake. The Bear has now returned, with 70 percent of the world’s population.

The war/weapons lobby likes long-lasting wars, like Vietnam.

Trump must say no on this one. This could be a winning issue.

The G7 needs to disappear. They are the Frauds that started signing all the Global warming ( hoax) treaties, carbon taxes, green movement, etc….

Everyone can bad mouth Vlad, and Xi, and others in the Brics- but they are the ones to save the world from the Global warming hoax ( and other evils).

https://www.nytimes.com/2024/06/13/world/europe/g7-summit.html

“Since then, the group and its added members have met dozens of times to work on major issues that affect the international economy, security, trade, equality and climate change. In 2015, the summit paved the way for the Paris agreement to limit global carbon emissions, which was adopted later that year.”

Isnt it amazing that an “elderly old codger” like Biden with “a poor memory,” who cant find
his way off a 3’ dais, can actually see 10 years into the future of a place he doesnt even live in.

Is Special Counsel Hur, taking note?

“The way things are shaping up it won’t be so long!”

They’ll just find another to “enhance” into a larger conflict.

From the article:

“But the pledge is expected to be an “executive agreement,” the sources said, making it less formal than a treaty and not necessarily binding for any future presidents.”

So no, the Senate doesn’t need to ratify it.

It’s silly things like Security Agreements that get countries into trouble.

I am in favor of supporting Ukraine, but I don’t see the need to codify it in a way that could be waved in front of Congress.

I am not a global warming guy, but I am a clean air guy. Russia and China are the world’s largest polluters. Russia and China don’t give a crap about the world. The give a crap about themselves.

In case of nuclear war all sides should agree to take out the billionaire haven of New Zealand.

President Biden Holds a Joint Press Conference with President Zelenskyy of Ukraine

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiLgGjFzcV4

Is Zelenskyy still President of Ukraine??
I thought his term had expired...

The Left freaks out that Trump may stay in office after his term expires...

But the Left have no issues with Zelenskyy doing just that!

It has, but he's declared himself Dictator. He won't allow elections to be conducted so the Ukraine people have a say about what is going on in their country. What is Zelenskyy and the Ukraine Cabinet of Ministers afraid of?
