For six years, Marla Maples graced the world stage as Mrs Donald Trump, the former beauty queen turned wife of the business mogul. Now, Trump's ex-wife has lifted the lid on what it was like to be married to him.
Despite a bitter divorce in 1999, the American actress and TV personality has made headlines by staunchly defending her ex-husband.
Despite his public image, Marla has revealed a softer side to Trump. She disclosed that the former President, who claims to be worth $7billion, secretly provided financial aid for her father Stanley's medical needs.
Stanley, who had been struggling with his "heart and mind health", passed away last month at the age of 82. Marla first announced the sad news of her father's passing on Instagram, a day after Trump was found guilty of his hush money charges.
However, she insists - in a statement that some may find hard to swallow - that there is another side to the man who is often vilified. She describes him as a man who always prioritises country and family.
She said: "As a person, he is very generous. My father started to struggle with his memory and he said "If you need anything, then just let me know"."
"There have been other times when he has helped the family. He did not have to help my father as we were no longer married. But he really cared and he wanted to make sure my father was doing really well. I have seen him with his grandchildren. That is a part the world does not see and I think it is important to see the other side."

It is the headline that counts isn’t it? Always a backhand smear. Trump appears to have taken care of people without fanfare or publicity, the right way.
Meanwhile, Biden and Hunter are stringing along a blood relative, the grand daughter/ daughter.
Lots and lots of stories about Trump making a point to greet and thank the lowest of workers in his organizations, of hearing about situations and having money sent, etc.
Now, there also through NYC have long been rumors of his stiffing smaller contractors. Trump’s claim is that he only does so when the contractors try to take advantage of him by providing work below the agreed upon standard. I’m of course not in a position to judge that either way, though I imagine there would be more lawsuits if he simply didn’t pay for work received.
He’s also obviously also a vain narcissist susceptible to flattery, but I’ve read and heard enough to believe that there is a good heart in there too.

There are numerous accounts of not just Donald, but the kids as well, eing very kind to people, and actually stopping to assist others when needed. One of the boys stopped, ran across traffic to help a family stranded after their wheel fell off. Donald saved a disabled girl fro. Drowning (the account can be found online), Trump is alleged to have stopped a mugging in progress. Another account of a homeless woman who so ehkw got I to Mara Lago, and had been ,icing there for some time. Trump found out and gave her the room plus food for life
There are many other accounts too- Trump does things quietly. With no fanfare- like when he personally sent water that he bought down to hurricane survivors who needed freshwater- the media found d out and accused him of doing it for photo op if I recall right.
Trump could literally donate a kidney to someone and the press would vilify him for it.
That is the Donald Trump I know. There are reports of him, being kind and thoughtful.. Many stories.. I have posted more than once, the real person everyone should know.
It’s a sad shame what the media has for to this man.. Hate comes from that snake in the garden.

This is exactly my impression of Donald Trump. He is a very honest and benevolent man. He has sacrifice an enormous amount to rescue and save the USA, the American People, the ideals of America, and the American Dream; he is completely sincere in this.
Those who find this "shocking" or "hard to swallow" are not very intelligent.
If Trump was guilty of ANY kind of crime, they’ve had DECADES to get him for it.
They only started pursuing him when he ran for President - for the wrong side. That began almost TEN years ago… and yet, ALL they’ve been able to come up with is - a bookkeepers error; not even committed by him.
This tells me he’s the cleanest guy in Washington DC for possibly at least a century.
