White House: Joe Biden Might Commute Hunter Biden’s Pending Sentence

The White House left open the idea that President Joe Biden might commute Hunter Biden’s pending federal sentence following his gun-related conviction.

There is no immediate date scheduled for Hunter’s sentencing. A two to three-month delay between conviction and sentencing is typical in the federal system.

“As we all know, the sentencing hasn’t even been scheduled yet,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters Wednesday.

Joe Biden told ABC News last week that he would not pardon his son.

This might also be the “out” for dealing with Trump: Commute both in order to end the “lawfare” accusations.

White House: Joe Biden Might Commute Hunter Biden’s Pending Sentence

As a dictator can.

This shows just how dumb the White House is. They should stick to the “no pardon” lie until after the November election. Then issue a pardon.

But wait. Could the Biden family be thinking that Joe might not be president in November?

As many times:

To a Dem: But, but, you promised.

Dem: I changed my mind.

Reporter: Mr.President, about Hunter’s verdict, will you commute?

Biden: Although I get limo rides and have classic cars, I’m open to riding public transportation for a photo op and becoming a commuter.

Even Bill Clinton broke promises.

Money Magazine endorsed him informally by comparing campaign promises and saying “If you are in the middle class you should choose Clinton because he said he will give a middle class tax cut when he is elected.”

I saw that issue still on a coffee table at work after he got in.

Clinton said, newly elected, now that I have been given more data I am not going to be able to offer middle class tax cuts because the budget and the e3conomy are in such bad shape from the Republicans that we can’t afford it and still have new programs for people.

He raised taxes for all.

That old Money Magazine issue was still there.

He’ll commute or pardon the day after the election, regardless. No downside either way.

For the record, Hunter already agreed to a plea "sentence"...

President Biden Delivers Remarks and Signs Executive Orders

What are we seeing now? Optics. Period.

We all called this one. Hunter was already willing to be a ‘felon’ with his sweetheart plea deal, so a pardon isn’t necessary. But Resident Biden will commute any jail time.

“To a Dem: But, but, you promised.

Perhaps you should view it like they do the Constitution. Even their words are living statements that evolve.

Trump was convicted in a NY state court; Biden cannot commute his sentence.

Biden does not have the power to commute Trump’s sentence.

Hunter is beyond shame.’

A two to three-month delay between conviction and sentencing is typical in the federal system.

I'd expect about 5 months in this case (November 6th).
