Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr will be casting his vote for Joe Biden come November, he said on MSNBC Monday night.
The reason Kerr gave for why he’s endorsing Biden is gun control. The nine-time NBA champion has been vocal about gun issues in the past, and he said Biden promised to implement some “common sense” measures that he agrees with.
Berkeley rowing coach revealed for USA Olympic coaching staff “It’s clear that President Biden is interested in implementing gun safety measures, common sense gun violence prevention measures,” he said.
Kerr said he has been working with politicians and organizations on gun safety for years. The cause hits close to home for Kerr, who lost his father to gun violence.
“President Biden is adamant that he’s going to push for common sense laws that can (protect lives.) I know that President Trump will not do that, and so it’s really a simple choice for me,” he said.
Kerr has been critical of Trump in the past, and he was asked whether his decision was a vote for Biden or against Trump.
“I’m voting for Joe Biden,” he answered. “But I think the biggest thing for me is everybody needs to vote their conscience. I’m voting on a few issues, but this is the main one.”
Kerr has been outspoken about gun violence in the past. After the mass shooting at a Uvalde school in 2022, Kerr passionately challenged politicians to make a change before storming off the press conference podium.
His success as a coach was based on taking credit of a man fired for being black and Christian. Then they hired Steve Kerr, whose asset as a coach is being white and woke. Then he took credit for another black man who made his team good.
So, if you ever think white privilege doesn't exist, just look at Steve Kerr, sometimes it does exist.
Why would anyone care what that turd had to say about anything?
Or Gregg Popovich, for that matter?!

As I recall Kerr’s father was an ultra-liberal who was chancellor of the American University of Beirut. And then he was offed by Muslims. Some people will never learn.

Why would he even think Biden is even running anything more than his daily eating, sleeping, and excreting? Kerr is just another lying democrat.
Only reason I think is to get Biden “re-elected” and have him resign. Maybe they get rid of Harris and put in a moderate dem(an oxymoron) in her place. The Dems are useless in terms of solving problems.
