European Union High Representative Josep Borrell called the hostage rescue operation carried out by Israeli security forces on Saturday morning "appalling" in a post on X, formerly Twitter. The operation, carried out jointly by the IDF, Shin Bet and Border Police's National Counterterrorism unit Yamam, successfully rescued four hostages: Noa Argamani, Shlomi Ziv, Almog Meir Jan, and Andrey Kozlov. According to Palestinian officials, over 200 Palestinians were killed during the IDF operation.

The important thing is the rescue. The casualties on the palis is just a bonus.

Warning to Jews: stay out of Europe. As if the Holocaust wasn’t enough to convince you.

Because the despicable leftist governments in Europe hate their own people they cannot understand Israel fighting to save theirs.

The leaders of the West should be tried for treason and shot dead when found guilty.

Don’t hold hostages in the middle of civilians and this won’t happen. Personally I’d be okay if the IDF had killed a thousand of them.

And all of this could have been avoided if the savages holding those hostages in violation of international law would just release them.

So I say hit them even harder next time.

There's an excellent article this morning by Stephen Kruiser at "PJ Media" excoriating all the leftists worldwide sympathizing with the Hamas Palis over the rescue. Worth reading...
The Morning Briefing: Hostage Rescue Brings Out the Worst in the Worst People on Earth"

Morally bankrupt leftists all over the world have thrown in with the terrorists. They pretend that it's all about the poor innocents in Gaza, but Hamas is Gaza and Gaza is Hamas. Those fully grown Hamas terrorists aren't being dispensed from a vending machine or being purchased off of Amazon, after all.

The ugliness of this insanity has been compounded by hordes of ignorant college kids who have had their impressionable minds warped by commie professors.

As is always the case with the leftists, there are no limits to how low they can go. The antisemitic rage we've seen from them these past eight months has been beyond awful. Unfortunately, they found new depths to plumb after the Israel Defense Forces rescued four hostages last week. They immediately looked for ways to taint a great cause for celebration — especially given the fact that many had lost hope that any hostages remained alive.

The sub rosa aspect of winning the postwar era was the erasure of 12% and 5% respectively of Germany’s and Japan’s prewar populations. An estimated 2m and 1m respectively of Germany’s and Japan’s populations were cremated or otherwise killed during the carpet bombing of their cities, with a peak casualty count of 100K Japanese killed in a day during an incendiary attack on Tokyo (Operation Meetinghouse). The numbers seem large and the attacks inhumane, until the reader is told the Germans and the Japanese started this by dealing death to Allied cities from the air. As Arthur Harris famously said: “The Nazis entered this war under the rather childish delusion that they were going to bomb everybody else and nobody was going to bomb them.”

THE truth is that Hamas killed most of the Gazan casualties with anti-tank weapons and RPG’s while trying to stop the rescue attempt. They don’t give a damn about their own people. If you want to call it a massacre, blame it on Hamas, which is responsible.

I heard someone that helped plan the rescue attempt and he told me that most of the collateral damage was done by Hamas with anti-tank weapons and RPG’s. They don’t give a damn about their own people.

Pretty sure civilians were advised to leave GAZA months ago as it is an identified WAR ZONE.

“Don’t hold hostages in the middle of civilians and this won’t happen.”

Here’s a novel but simple idea:

Don’t cross into a another part of a country’s landscape and take hostages at all. Just leave them alone since kidnapping is against the law and then you won’t have to hide them and they won’t have to come get them. Wu wei.

Perhaps European Union High Representative Josep Borrell should do some of his own research to understand how Hamas operates, instead of depending upon unreliable and heavily biased news sources.

If he did he would not call the successful rescue operation appalling.

His stupidity does not reflect well on him or his organization.

Two hundred innocents killed? I do not believe this. However, the news media quotes the Hamas Health Ministry like it is all true and with no questions. If you are in an apartment building and hear gunfire in the building are you going to hide in your apartment or run into the hallways where the firing is coming from? If you are an innocent civilian outside are you going to run toward the gunfire or run away?

Remember the 500 innocent civilians Israel killed at the hospital with rockets? It was a Hamas rocket that failed and hit the hospital parking lot. It was not 500 it was less than 20 and Hamas did it. That hospital was use as a base of operations for Hamas. Israel knew this. Under the rules of war per Geneva Conventions Israel had the legal right to level that hospital. Israel did not as they are a compassionate nation. Sometimes too compassionate.

HAMAS LIES HAMAS LIES HAMAS LIES and our media lies by repeating their lies without verification of the facts.

It should also be noted that when a military uses civilian areas as a base for operations, the rules of war per Geneva Conventions are no longer apply. You can kill civilians as collateral damage and still not violate the rules of war.

If you are not willing to kill your enemy and all that stand with him surrender, for he has already defeated you.
