It’s too bad y’all didn’t head out when he retired. Now, like me, y’all are old enough you don’t eeeeeeeven want to think about moving. Too much hassle.

I hope to get the other front yard mowed tomorrow. Then all should be good for a while. We have a dry 10 days, at the least, ahead and the grass won’t grow much. Works for me! LOL

Well, by that time he was going nowhere. And yes, it’s a hassle, so I guess we’re stuck with the cactuses. At least we get to visit the pretty parts. :)

Great that the mowing is nearly done and slow growth coming up. Win/win! I hope the weather is pretty enough for you to get in some fun before things change.

I’ve moved so many times, I can’t begin to count. In the early days, I didn’t have much so it wasn’t so bad. Now, there’s no way I’ll do it. Fortunately, I love where I live.

It would be nice if you could get over there to see the kids more often. One, just to get to see them. Two, to see the pretty parts. :-)

A win/win for me, getting to stay off the mower for a little while. Not so good for the fella across the road. His beans just came up and are only a couple of inches tall. They need rain big time.

Tomorrow is supposed to be pretty much like today, and Wed. won’t be too bad. After that, I’m stayin’ in as much as possible the next week. The heat index will be 100+ and I just don’t handle that kind of heat well.

Nooo 100+! That’s what I want to always avoid. Smart move to stay out of it. I admire and have pity on people whose work has them out in that kind of heat doing manual labor. I don’t know how they survive it! Thank goodness we both have a choice.

Speaking of choices, I don’t have a choice but to get some sleep. Between the early wake-up, the long trip and the fact that I never sleep well the night before such trips, I gotta go. See ya tomorrow. My time online early in the evening will no doubt be sketchy, but quiz-time, here we come!

It’s going to be tough for those who work outside, no doubt. The temps will be mid-90s but the humidity will crank up the heat index. It’s so hard to cool off because sweat won’t evaporate. They’ll drink a lot of water and the smart ones have been drinking a lot the past few days to get good and hydrated beforehand.

Yes, we’re lucky we have a choice and I’m definitely staying in. LOL Any shopping that needs to be done will be done in the evenings.

I’m surprised you stayed up as late as you did after your long trip on little sleep. Sleep well and have a great day tomorrow. Catch ya for the quiz.
