A former Atlanta city attorney who was sentenced to seven years in prison over a massive $15 million pandemic loan fraud donated to Trump prosecutor Fani Willis’s campaign after applying for the government handouts, records show.
Shelitha Robertson, 62, used some of her ill-gotten windfall for lavish purchases — including a massive 10-carat diamond ring and a Rolls Royce, according to federal prosecutors.
But, she also donated $1,000 to Willis’s Democratic primary election campaign around the time she got the massive payouts from the Paycheck Protection Program, Georgia campaign filings show.

A judge ruled that the relationship did not present a sufficient conflict of interest to kick Willis off the case, but last week the Georgia Court of Appeals delayed the trial for months after it said it would review the judges decision in October.
Robertson, a Democrat who ran unsuccessfully to be a Circuit Court judge in Fulton County in 2010 and 2014, donated to Willis in May 2020.
Willis went on to defeat her scandal-hit boss — longtime district attorney Paul Howard in the Democratic primary after a runoff in August 2020.
A spokesman for Willis did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Sunday.
In April and May 2020, Robertson — a former Atlanta assistant city attorney and an ex-cop in Georgia’s largest city — fraudulently applied for millions of dollars in government loans for four businesses she owned, prosecutors said.

No telling where a legit forensic accounting would lead.
Atlanta/Fulton/Democrat controlled metro area are so corrupt, everyone should be perp-walked, one chance to come clean or straight to prison for all sorts of activity and backroom deals.
And, lots of ‘Republicans’ to include the Governor, AG, SOS, and too many in the state & county machine, should be sitting right next to them on the prison bus

dailymail.com——Court documents show that Fani campaign donor, Robertson, falsely claimed she was responsible for a 427 employees. The number of ‘alleged staff’ in her ‘alleged companies’ allowed her to obtain enormous PPP tax dollars, meant to keep legitimate businesses afloat through the pandemic.
The DOJ said she transferred funds to a co-conspirator, Chandra Norton, and other family members. The pair were self-serving——and had no qualms about abusing the PPP, even submitting false tax documents to back up their inflated falsified income statements w/ each loan application.
A jury convicted Robertson of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering, with the judge sentencing her to seven years and three months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release.
Robertson used some of the money to purchase luxury items. She is pictured in a 2015 photo wearing a pricey Chanel bracelet.
It’s quite the fall from grace for Robertson who was Atlanta’s Assistant City Attorney, had been a city cop, and ran for several public offices including a judgeship in Faniland’s Fulton County.
‘I’m dead broke,’ she said at sentencing. ‘My business is gone. My (law) license is gone. My assets are gone. The only thing I have left is my family and my faith in God. I’m not that person that tries to take advantage of anybody or any situation,’ she said. ‘I’ve owned up to what I’ve done.’
U.S. District Judge Steven D. Grimberg said the loss of the $14 million in funds was staggering. ‘It was her level of direction and confidence in being able to commit this level of fraud without being detected that instigated it in the first place,’ Grimberg said in court.
‘Motivated by greed, Robertson deceptively obtained funds that were designated to provide emergency financial relief to struggling small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic,’ said U.S. Attorney Ryan K. Buchanan. ‘
‘Today the defendant was held accountable for fraudulently obtaining millions of dollars through the Paycheck Protection Program and using those stolen funds to enrich herself, while small businesses were struggling during the pandemic,’ added Kyle Myles, Special Agent in Charge of the FDIC.

Last week I was watching coverage of the major water main break in Atlanta.....they actually declared a state of emergency over it.
Every municiple worker I saw was black, cops, utility workers, city councilman.....all of ‘em black.

She should have kept it to, “I’ve owned up to what I’ve done”, but she obviously hasn’t, indicated by the rest of her announcement.
