Hartford, Connecticut’s, Mayor Arunan Arulampalam (D) is denouncing residents of a predominately black community for arming themselves to fight violent crime.
The New York Post reported the residents, approximately 40 in all, are calling themselves the “Self-Defense Brigade.” The armed residents patrol the streets of their neighborhood at night and keep an eye on homes and businesses via drones.
The brigade was founded by Cornell Lewis, who told FOX News, “The Democrat machine in Hartford is either unwilling or unable, incapable, of doing it, and people are paying their tax dollars, and they’re not really getting any kind of service. So we want the people to understand, number one, self-defense is not a dirty word.”

Mayor’s name sounds faintly Thai. Guess the party apparatchiks put him on the ballot and a “D” next to his unpronounceable-ness was all he needed. Kudos to the neighborhood watch for taking care of business.

Mayor Arulampalam is from a Jaffna Tamil family. His parents fled Sri Lanka in July 1983, at the start of the Sri Lankan Civil War. They moved to England, where they married, and settled in Zimbabwe.
Arunan was born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe in 1985.
I applaud men who take action to protect their families and their homes and businesses....good for them....

Oh! The Horror! Black Americans owning and daring to use arms and the Second Amendment to secure, for themselves and their prosperity, life liberty, private property, and their pursuit of happiness. Pretty soon the Hartford Blacks will be as reviled as the Founding Fathers. AND, if the democRATS keep up the criticism, the horrors of horrors just might develop; these same blacks may join President Trump in making Hartford and America great again.
