and now with that same mental illness if her parents took her to a doctor, that is assuming the teachers didn’t already snatch her away to some facility to start her on puberty blockers, she would be taken from them if they objected and started on puberty blockers.

Our society today doesn’t consider trans people to be mentally unstable. They are victims of the people we’d consider normal. They are considered normal living in a world of transphobic people persecute them.
