There's a reason federal agencies used to stay out of politics, but it appears the Obama generation never thought it meant them.
Now we get Andrew McCabe, the fired former FBI deputy director, attempting to whip up sympathy in the press for FBI agents who have turned that agency into the internal security apparatus of the Democrat party.
According to Breitbart News:
CNN analyst and former FBI chief Andrew McCabe said Wednesday on CNN’s “The Source” that people in the intelligence and law enforcement community were worried if former President Donald Trump is elected again, they would be “thrown in jail or grabbed in some sort of extra judicial detention.”
McCabe said, “When you think about these things and you try to predict how Donald Trump is going to react are the steps he’s going to take you really don’t have to go any further than listening to the things he says and does his, comments recently are offensive and horrendous, but they’re not a surprising in any way. He’s been saying this for quite some time. I will be your retribution is referring to is supporters. So, you know him, you know, what motivates him. He is not a person who’s driven by principle or ideology. He is someone who’s entirely transactional.”
He continued, “If he feels like he’s been wronged in some way, then he focuses on revenge and then in vengeance. He’s made it perfectly clear that that’s what he’s gonna do. In the process of seeking that he run the risk of dismantling or greatly incapacitating the Department of Justice and the FBI. That is something that Americans on both sides of the political aisle should be worried about. We depend on those institutions to protect us.”

There are no innocent FBI agents. They knew what they did was wrong.
These are college-educated people who are trained in the law and civil rights. They CHOSE to break the law and violate constitutional rights.
They had a legal DUTY to refuse to break the law and resign rather than violate the law.
None should be allowed to flee the United States and should be chased to the ends of the Earth and extradited to stand trial in U.S. federal court if they flee.
They are lawless thugs who ALL need to be behind bars in a federal prison.

Actually, the left-wing politicization started some time ago. I attended an official talk several years ago by an FBI agent about domestic terrorism. Not too long after 911.
All he talked about was white supremacists. Even in question and answer, he would not talk about or admit that Muslim terrorists existed.
All that has happened in recent years is that we started noticing the hard-left politization of the FBI.

When I was in the military service members behaved for the most part because nobody wanted to go to the brig. And nobody wanted to go to Leavenworth or some other long-term arrangement.
So what’s the difference?
You tow the line, you keep your nose clean, you do your job, and you don’t circumvent your authoritative documents one being the Constitution, and Lawful orders.
If they did nothing wrong then they have nothing to worry about.

When I was a kid I remember the show FBI on tv. Great show—but now revealed for the fiction that it was. Feckless Bureau of Intimidation will not survive an Outlaw Presidency.
