During a conversation with "Kill Tony" comedian Tony Hinchcliffe on Wednesday, podcast host Joe Rogan discussed his view of the political ramifications of the prosecution of Donald Trump.
"What's scary is how many Democrats are willing to allow this kind of stuff to happen. A lot of them are aware of it," Rogan said. "Especially if you wanted to look at past presidents with the same scrutiny... Imagine if, when Obama got into office, he decided to prosecute Dick Cheney and George Bush for crimes against humanity... Even what Obama did -- during the administration, they dropped a drone on a US citizen. No trial, no nothing. Boom."
"Trump didn't even go for Obama. He didn't go for Hillary. He could have tried them for things. Especially Hillary with the whole email thing, the deleting the emails."
"They're all crazy. That's what they don't want you to know. It's like sluts that are always talking bad about other girls for being sluts," he quipped.
"They don't even realize they're setting a precedent, and when another guy gets in office that's a Republican, you've got real problems now, kids. If the elections are real, that's how it usually goes."
"If you change the way people are allowed to go after political candidates, and you change the way you're allowed to silence and imprison your candidates, then we're like Mexico. We're just not assassinating people yet. We're like a third-world country. We're like a banana republic," Rogan said.
TONY HINCHCLIFFE: I think Trump just puts the fear of God into these people [leading China and Russia] a little bit. I think he puts the fear of God into them because they play by the rules. They read our news. If they glance at our news, it looks like we have a crazy...

no no no no NO! can’t just throw them from helicopters. the humane thing would be to supply rope, make a large loop...and let them make their own decision on what to do about it. after all, choice is an important concept to these fine, outstanding...ok, choice is important.

I say pardon Biden and Obama, and crucify everybody involved with the witch hunt and cover-ups since 2016. All the way down to the doorman. These were real crimes against the country, not a book keeping issue.

Just look at how Obama benefited from the fallout from that scandal. Obama's rival Chicago power-broker Jesse Jackson got taken down when his son Jesse Jackson Jr became entangled in the Senate Seat scandal. Jackson is a Baptist minister and protégé of the Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. who led the peaceful civil disobedience wing of the Black Power movement.
Obama was aligned with the Louis Farrakhan Muslim activist wing of the Black Power movement and had little regard for Jackson. With Jackson out of the picture, Obama elevated the stature of Al Sharpton, who was a radical activist Baptist minister with a checkered past.
Neutering Jackson and elevating Sharpton went a long way towards consolidating Obama's influence in the African-American community.
What would happen if an aggressive Republican prosecutor decided to take another look at what happened with Obama's Senate seat in 2009?
