Sometimes unexpected but dramatic events tear off the thin veneer of respectability and convention.
What follows is the exposure and repudiation of long-existing but previously covered-up pathologies.
Events like the destruction of the southern border over the last three years, the Oct. 7 massacre and ensuing Gaza war, the campus protests, the COVID-19 panpidemic and lockdown, and the systematic efforts to weaponize our bureaucracies and courts have all led to radical reappraisals of American culture and civilization.
Since the 1960s, universities have always been hotbeds of left-wing protests, sometimes violently so.
But the post-Oct. 7 campus eruptions marked a watershed difference.

For ME, it was when 51 FBI agents swore an affadavit and said the Hunter Biden laptop was a hoax. My father made me place a decal in my 1949 Ford, SUPPORT LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT. We had deep respect for J. Edgar Hoover, and LOVED to watch the TV series DRAGNET.
I don’t remember ever interacting with that hippie.

Read the Declaration of Independence. If you don’t recognize that our Founders were ready, willing and able to forcefully eject the Crown for *far* less than what this illegitimate administration is forcefully shoving down our gullets then I don’t know what to tell you. Hopefully we can resolve this peacefully but I doubt it.
Government institutions may be at the top of the list, but there’s plenty of business, financial and medical institutions fight .gov for poll position......
He remembered you.
Must not have smoked as much weed as me then. Good for him.
That’s pretty much Fascism. Government and big business colluding to oppress.
Facebook is a CIA invention. Get people to post their lives online and save the spooks the time and legal morass to find out everything about you.
To my Florida grand neices's credit, she applied to and was accepted by GA Tech.
Her parents are dyed-in-the-wool Florida Gators.
When asked why she selected Tech rather than FL or other schools (she is a computer genius and had lots of school offers), she said was accepted there on her merit and not her DEI score.

Are you safe? Are you happy?
Acid was his bag.
when will Victor be arrested for seditious wrongthink?
Groovy.
70% of the public does not want to spend money on more war. The Congress works for the donors - and totally ignores the wishes of the public.
The way I see the Democrats and Republicans - two competing crime families - selling influence to the highest bidder - you can say that one is slightly better than the other - but they are clearly criminal organizations - defying the constitution on a regular basis.
Speaking for myself, a Georgia Tech degree is a great thing! Unfortunately even Tech has succumbed to woke-ism as the degree programs have expanded - a couple of years ago we had a Rhodes Scholar who was a trans. Even back in my day there was a strong homosexual student’s group (hey, it’s Atlanta after all).
Institutions are made up of people, so it is people are that untrustworthy. People suck.
As a Tech grad. I would not knock UofF engineering schools. Worked with more than one Gator who was pretty good. But if she’s going to Tech, dress her in White and Gold and Ramble On!
People do suck.
