They’re still talking about a virtual convention so that they can get Joe on the Ohio ballot. They seem to be in a rush to lock him in.
I think it gets super awkward if ballots are printed and THEN the Democrats decide to come up with a new candidate.
Not just awkward, what are the legal implications to (1) change candidate after nomination confirmed, (2) after state deadlines pass and ballots printed, and, (3) most importantly, once voting starts. In the latter Democrats may rue the day the pushed early voting as once a vote is cast for Biden, it is for Biden, not Harris or any successor. Am I correct in this or is there laws and all to handle all of this?

A short time ago Ohio enacted a law that allows Biden to be on the Ohio ballot. Ironically it passed without DemocRAT support because the law also barred FOREIGN money supporting any candidates in Ohio. So they can now wait until their convention to nominate the puppet.
