The mistake is accepting Biden’s order as a serious effort to mitigate the problem.
He has already caused the problem and the problem is here. A theoretical fig leaf to make the problem worse at a slightly slower rate is nothing more than an attempt to neutralize an issue that is hurting him. He has no intention of sticking to this if he wins or of fixing the problem with deportations if he wins.
