Israeli-American casino billionaire Miriam Adelson is expected to announce a multi-million dollar boost to Trump's campaign this week.
Politico reported that the contribution is expected to exceed the $90m donation to Preserve America by Mrs Adelson and her late husband, Sheldon in the 2020 election.
In the hours following the verdict, a number of wealthy billionaires posted messages of support for Trump.
Among them was Silicon Valley investor David Sacks, who posted on X that there "is now only one issue in this election: whether the American people will stand for the USA becoming a Banana Republic".
On 6 June, Mr Sacks and Chamath Palihapitiya are planning to host a fundraiser for Trump. Attendees are reportedly being asked to contribute as much as $300,000. [Palihapitiya gave a six figure donation to Biden in 2020]
Hedge fund manager Bill Ackman, is expected to make an announcement on X in the coming days about supporting Trump.
While three years ago Mr Ackman said that Trump "should apologise to all Americans" in the wake of the US Capitol riot, the financier has since softened his tone.
Elon Musk has previously said he will not be donating this electoral cycle, although he does plan to host a livestreamed town-hall style event with Trump.
Shaun Maguire, a partner at venture capital firm Sequoia, announced a $300,000 donation to Trump within minutes of last week's verdict, arguing that the trial was unfair.
In a lengthy post on X, Mr Maguire outlined a number of reasons for supporting Trump.
The various legal cases against Trump, Mr Maguire added, also served as a "radicalising experience".
"There's a real chance President Trump is convicted of felony charges and sentenced to prison. Bluntly, that's part of why I'm supporting him. I believe our justice system is being weaponised against him."

While the big donations get headlines, the TRUTH is that the majority of Trump’s fundraising, post-conviction, has been small donors.
But don’t let the FACTS get in the way of a good story to paint the GOP as the party of the rich even though the most wealthy voting districts in the US are solid Democratic Party voters.

Some of the billionaires backing Trump financially or verbally supported Democrats in the past, like Ackman, Maguire and Palihapitiya. Musk has been a Democrat. That’s why this so newsworthy. Additionally, some Republican billionaires had distanced themselves from Trump and are coming back to him.

This is somewhat of a surprise, the rich backing freedom. Often times the rich love having a corrupt government because they have easy access and enough money to ease their way into making more money. If everything is fair and above board then the rich have to compete with people who are lean, hungry and competing in the real business world. As an aside, the Clintons never had to arrange for the fortuitous demise of people who could have harmed them. The press kept good track of who was about to testify to what and rich people who benefited from the Clintons being in office made the problems go away for them. The Clintons are, from that perspective, clean. They probably didn’t even wonder for a moment about their luck because, being corrupt, and therefore helpful to the wealthy people who needed them, luck just happened whenever it needed to.
Commercial and industry leadership, such as these, can drop an entire state to it’s knees overnight. I’m disappointed the radical left doesn’t take the hint and forces them to spank the bujezzus outta them.

A lot of those people live in a bubble. Scott Adams says that Cuban was under the impression that DEI is where everyone is hired or promoted without regard to race - the exact opposite of what it is. He seems like an imbecile but the fact that he has accomplished what he has suggests that isn’t the case.
