I posted a similar article last week. This has some new developments in the wake of the NYC verdict.

More on Shaun Maguire:

Shaun Maguire, a partner at the prominent venture capital firm Sequoia, announced he'll be cutting a $300,000 check to Donald Trump — just minutes after the former president was found guilty of 34 felony counts. The timing, Maguire said, was not a coincidence.

In a lengthy screed on X, Maguire, who said he voted for Hilary Clinton in 2016 and did not vote in 2020, outlined his reasoning — including a take about the "double standards and lawfare against Trump."

He also acknowledged that it may not be the most shrewd move for business.

"I know that I'll lose friends for this. Some will refuse to do business with me," he wrote. "The media will probably demonize me, as they have so many others before me. But despite this, I still believe it's the right thing to do."

I hope that they bypass the nrc dipping off Trump.
The useless rnc:
Bought up their sponsorship in rino returns of elections past and tepided their campaigning for truly needed representation in a now even stronger uniparty dc swamp
No soup for the gope/rnc

While the big donations get headlines, the TRUTH is that the majority of Trump’s fundraising, post-conviction, has been small donors.

But don’t let the FACTS get in the way of a good story to paint the GOP as the party of the rich even though the most wealthy voting districts in the US are solid Democratic Party voters.

Seeing the light, putting their money to defend against our becoming a banana republic.

This is real easy, even Billionaires cannot get a 30 percent return on their money to keep up with inflation!

Plus Biden’s Increase top individual income tax rate to 39.6 percent on income above $400,000 for single filers and $450,000 for joint filers (effective 2024)

and Tax long-term capital gains and qualified dividends at ordinary income tax rates for taxable income above $1 million and tax unrealized capital gains at death above a $5 million exemption ($10 million for joint filers)

Now yours is a good post! Well done.

This is somewhat of a surprise, the rich backing freedom. Often times the rich love having a corrupt government because they have easy access and enough money to ease their way into making more money. If everything is fair and above board then the rich have to compete with people who are lean, hungry and competing in the real business world. As an aside, the Clintons never had to arrange for the fortuitous demise of people who could have harmed them. The press kept good track of who was about to testify to what and rich people who benefited from the Clintons being in office made the problems go away for them. The Clintons are, from that perspective, clean. They probably didn’t even wonder for a moment about their luck because, being corrupt, and therefore helpful to the wealthy people who needed them, luck just happened whenever it needed to.

Now all we have to do is convince Mike Bloomberg, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Mark Cuban, Warren Buffet, Mark Zuckerberg, Sundar Pichai, Sergey Brin, Reed Hastings, Reid Hoffman, David Geffen, Tom Steyer, and most of the Wall Street bankers.

I’m rallying behind Trump too, but I’m a little shy of a billion. In fact, a little shy of a million. In fact, just enough to buy a few groceries. Oh well.....
