(3) Labs working with live viruses can operate at one of four biosafety levels, where BSL 1 is the lowest level of protection, and BSL 4 the most stringent.

I’ve held since near the beginning that the pandemic was caused by underpaid medical personnel at Wuhan who were supplementing their income by selling lab animals (such as infected bats) in food markets after the lab was finished with them.

China was hoping to use this virus on Taiwan as a precursor to an invasion. Covid by design had a low mortality rate because it was meant to incapacitate and overwhelm the healthcare system.

When I was in graduate school, our lab used Salmonella for research. We were careful but every few months one of us would come down with a case of Salmonellosis, so I see how this bug escaped.

I too suspected that the Wuhan Lab workers were selling lab animals in the Wet Market to supplement their income. The lab animal I’m thinking of is the pangolin because in research they are the intermediate hosts that adapted the SARS-CoV-2 and are a significant evolutionary link in the path of transmission of the COVID-19 virus. This animal is a highly prized meat that is seen as a status symbol, with pangolin-fetus soup said to cost as much as $1,750 a bowl. Its Scales are now valued at about $1,500 per pound because there is the unfounded belief that their blood and scales—made of keratin—hold medical properties similar to rhino horn. I am certain that drinking pangolin blood brought to the feast the COVID-19 virus and its repercussions.
