Spain’s Socialist government has sensationally BANNED the public saying of the Rosary in Madrid ahead of the European Elections.
Pedro Sanchez’s government has told the organisers of the daily Rosary in Madrid that they will not be allowed to gather in the city on June 8th of June 9th due to a ‘day of reflection’ and the election day.
It comes after already fining its leader thousands for praying in public.
Catholics have said that they will defy the order.
So the alleged atheists believe in the power of payer?
Don’t tell the government that the Rosary works in private, too.

Banning the Rosary is a bad sign. Next they will ban crosses of any kind. Not Good.
Just returned from a month touring Portugal and Spain. Both countries are still very religious ( except for the fact that they are extremely tolerant of Homos)

Every time I read about Spain doing something like this, I say a little prayer of thanks that my ancestors booked passage out of there to the New World about 400 years ago and no one ever went back-the royalty and nobility were the bad guys then-the communists/socialists are the bad guys now...

I can’t find out the exact history of the flag behind him, but it has an image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the center, doubly appropriate for the month of June these days.
