He is being horrible here. Because He knows that the USSC can’t do a thing at the present time. They need cases brought before them.

Surely they can see that this case was tried in a court of lawfare and not a court of law.

Maybe the request could be for a “stay” on “sentencing” until the case can go to appeal in a Federal court (since Bragg claims it was a felony against FEDERAL law, and if rejected there then immediately to SCOTUS.

Has he done anything “official” to try to get SCOTUS involved, or just some TV interviews or editorials? (I supposed I would know this, if I read the article!)

THANKS

No, he isn’t on point here. Trump was convicted in state court not federal court. Explain how the United States Supreme Court has jurisdiction over this case right now.

The forum for hearing Trump’s appeal is the New York State’s Appellate Division, First Department.

I hope his urging reaches the court and has a positive result.

Honestly I think the Speaker is a corrupt piece of crap politician who sees the 52 million in small $$ donations pledged in 48 hours along with the millions of everyday voters rallying behind President Trump. And like Mitt Romney, he’s smart enough to grasp that if this can be done to President Trump more can be done to him.

If the SCOTUS steps in (on emergency appeal by Trump), tosses the verdict, and reaches a split decision, like 5-4 or 6-3, even further damage will be done. If the Trump appointed justices don’t recuse, the media will claim the appeal is against the rule of law. If they recuse and the liberals split the court, then we’re at another impasse. This shit show was created by Democrats, and I am at a loss to figure out how it can be fixed at this point. Well, there is one way…a unanimous verdict by the SCOTUS.

He could simply have defunded the DOJ and didn’t.

Johnson should subpoena everyone going after Trump. From Hillary, 0bama and Bi-Dung to the top 5 levels of the FIB and DOJ, the Lawfare Institute, the prosecutors and judges participating in lawfare, ‘RAT congress critters, etc. If they refuse, file contempt referrals. Garland won’t do anything, but Trump can use it as a campaign promise that he will name a head of DOJ that will put all of them in jail if elected. And if elected, Trump should use SWAT raids to round them up, naked and in the middle of the street for hours.

IMHO, these 34 fake convictions represent Bills of Attainder, using the full power of the government against a private citizen, specifically for political gain.
Bills of Attainder are expressly forbidden by law in the United States.
I’m probably wrong, but they seem to fit the definition.

The reason I think the Supreme Court may just take this on expedited appeal is the fact that the same people who used law fare against Trump are also targeting the Court.

President Trump will be permitted an Appeal Bond, because he would win a SCOTUS emergency writ of habeus corpus.

"If there is a sentence of incarceration, and how that is carried out and when it's carried out — I expect that we would ask for a stay of any sentence while the appellate process works its way through the courts," Blanche said. "I don't think it's going to happen."

The goal here was the "convicted felon" talking point, and it melted faster than a cheap chocolate ice cream cone in Hotlanta.

You saw the point parroted by the mockingbirds for a single news cycle last week -- including some Freeptards aligning themselves with the chirp chirp pathos of le petit dauphin Morose Soros -- and yet it was immediately muted by the shock of the pro-Trump shock polling, and the outrageously successfully $53M overnight money bamb. That's regular people unloading savings, FRiends.

Typically of these dumb-as-a-day-old-baby neo-marxist off-color Gen Xero's like Albubbin Bluegums, they never contemplated the blowback. Never.

Witness Rep. Dean Phillips (Dem-Minnesotastan swing state) groveling on X for NY Gov. Hochul *spit* to pardon the President; or the subtle but stronger Swamp undertow now pulling Bluegums under to recommend a fine and suspended sentence -- to maintain the lame talking point -- tells you that the backfire is nearly complete.

The lawfare against President Trump has produced the exact conservative cohesion he needed to seal the deal in November. The right VP -- Youngkin or DeSantis or Rick Scott or even Foam Boy -- and Biden will be permanently back home in his Delaware basement pooping his diapers loaded on Kadian and pinching his great-granddaughter's nipples (barf), while Dr. Jekyll plots a twofer to bury him inside the fundament cornerstone of his Delanowhere Puppet-State Museum/Mausoleum.
