Is that what the Ukrainian law says, that the President is ‘illegally in office’ ?
The law says the election can’t take place during martial law during wartime and they made no provision for the president to remain in office and just said we can’t have elections and also all of those offices affected are to be left empty while we fight that war?
How about asking the people of Ukraine whether they want to hold elections or not, instead of a handful of politicians making the decision? Zelensky and the lawmakers have bypassed the will of the people, holding them hostage, and not giving them a say in any of this. Ever hear of government by the people, for the people? The RATS do the same thing here with the blessing of the Repukes.

You do understand that it was ZELENSKY WHO DECLARED MARSHAL LAW. And he can END MARSHAL LAW if he wants. But of course he doesn’t want that because then he’d have to STAND FOR ELECTION and he KNOWS HE WOULD NOT WIN THAT ELECTION.
So DON’T QUIBBLE…ZELENSKY IS NOW DICTATOR OF UKRAINE.
