The difference between the ‘poor’ here and the poor there is that OUR government supports them and their drug habits. LOTS of them get SNAP, SSI, disability, basic income (from leftist city governments), etc. There’s no need for them to work. And if there’s a shortfall, they just go steal from the better off around them or shoplift without repercussions.

When Addicts are honest they all say that anyone taking drugs know the lifesyle they will end up in.
Most homeless are not homeless..... they are druggies who lost their homes and families because of their drug use and desire to get high....and sustain that lifestyle.
