Dinesh D’Souza’s movie that sought to prove former President Donald Trump’s fantasy that the 2020 election was stolen from him by widespread fraud has been debunked time and time again. Now, years after its release, its executive producer is retracting the film entirely.
Following the 2020 election, D’Souza released 2000 Mules as an attempt to justify Trump’s loss to President Joe Biden. Trump famously held a screening of the movie at his Mar-a-Lago estate and MAGA supporters promoted the film during it’s release in May 2022.
The film was produced by Salem Media Group, a conservative radio juggernaut that airs the likes of Sebastian Gorka and Charlie Kirk.
In a new statement, Salem apologized for the film and said it would cease distributing it. The move came after a man featured in the movie sued Salem for defamation.
The movie featured video showing the man, Mark Andrews, putting five ballots in a drop box in Lawrenceville, Georgia in 2020. D’Souza falsely claimed in the film that Andrews’ actions were criminal, describing the votes as “fraudulent.”
The statement from Salem blamed D’Souza for the smear.
“In publishing the film and the book, we relied on representations made to us by Dinesh D’Souza and True the Vote, Inc. (‘TTV’) that the individuals depicted in the videos provided to us by TTV, including Mr. Andrews, illegally deposited ballots,” the company said in a statement. “We have learned that the Georgia Bureau of Investigation has cleared Mr. Andrews of illegal voting activity in connection with the event depicted in 2000 Mules.”

“If you cite any of these sites, you automatically lose the argument.”
That’s a logical fallacy. A blind squirrel can find and nut. And Dinesh did not respond to these critics in a detailed fashion as they did to his movie. He refused to name the organizations he claimed were running ballots and he was revealed to have used file footage of Moscow in his video portion of supposed “mules.” The whole thing is a disaster and none of it was substantiated.
If it had been real proof, people would have cited it in court briefs. They did not.
“I’m thinking it can be proven by looking at the public records as to whether these specific family members actually requested absentee ballots.”
“If there is no record of them being sent ballots, then the lie is proven.”

Yep - gotta request them - at least in the current milieu.
And you just meekly accept the word of the people whom we have on video actually participating in *STEALING* the election?
Raffesperger is a liar, and it's been shown over and over again that he is a liar. Nothing the election people in Georgia say can be believed. They were part of the system of rigging.
You should listen to that audio from Ruby Freeman when she first called the police. She d@mn near spills the beans on the whole thing, and there is no way you can interpret what she is saying to mean anything other than that she was heavily involved in the election stealing.
What polls are you citing for that information? I found one that had only 16% said Biden’s win was definitely not legitimate. 14% said it was probably not legit.

Yes, because normal people are desperately concerned that their ballots go into a collection box that isn't at a polling station.
All of those people taking pictures of themselves dropping ballots into the collection were just good conscientious citizens wanting to reassure people who might have apprehensions that their "friend" might be unable to drop an envelop in a box.
Are you serious? It was clearly proof for payment. Normal rational people do not take pictures of themselves dropping ballots into an unguarded collection box. People who need to *PROVE* they did it, do that, but normal people do not.
That is just a list of news articles with a headline summary for each. You need to have a written argument making specific assertions with specific people quoted for it to be legitimate in court. That website is not anything substantive at all. I couldn’t find anything on there about who the authors are.
“Are you serious? It was clearly proof for payment. Normal rational people do not take pictures of themselves dropping ballots into an unguarded collection box. People who need to *PROVE* they did it, do that, but normal people do not.”
Your statement is unsubstantiated conjecture. It would be laughed at in court if it were presented as evidence. You feel this is how people should be behaving, but your opinion really is not relevant. There are many different possible reasons for them to have behaved the way they did. Your sense of propriety is not a valid argument, nor is it evidence.
“Well, is it OK for candidates to talk about limiting abortions after six weeks?”
Yes.
By 6-8 weeks, a heartbeat can first be detected and a pregnant woman can see the baby via ultrasound. The introduction of the ultrasound in the 1970’s has had a profound impact on public attitudes toward abortion - such that the vast majority views pre 6 week abortions completely differently than post 6 week abortions.
There is a widespread belief that before 6 weeks there is not a baby yet - but rather biological tissue, and thus, that getting an abortion during this period is a form birth control rather than euthanasia.
I think this is both absurd and tragic - but it is nevertheless what the vast majority believes.
Because of that widespread belief, it is virtually impossible for a candidate advocating a ban on abortions earlier than 6 weeks to get elected. Such a candidate is accused of banning birth control. Advocating a ban after 6 weeks is seen by most as reasonable - at least in red states.
I will repeat: not a single unborn baby is saved from abortion by losing elections.
Hahahahahaha! “Scores of articles” and you post a Reuters link.
No doubt derived from “Mediaite”.
If that is the extent of your ability to discern the truth, you should give up interacting with people.
No doubt you are one of those douchebags that thought Gen. Flynn got what was coming to him by getting prosecuted for lying to FBI agents.
Google what? What search terms would I use to find out this bit of information?
And "common knowledge" means "lies" so far as I can tell. "Everyone knows that" just means that a lot of stupid people have swallowed the same crap and can spit it back up.
*TRUTH* is something different, and it isn't dependent upon "common knowledge." If "common knowledge" reflects the truth, then all well and good, but more often than not it simply reflects the *LIES* that the media-lie system spews constantly to support their political party.
So give me some real proof, or stop making the claim.
What a jackass...”I prefer facts over fiction”.
And you post things from Mediaite.
The poster isn’t crazy. Just untruthful as to his/her/its motives, and ignorant to boot.
When you cite Mediaite and Reuters as sources of truth, you have jumped any shark circling your intellectual integrity.
A stopped clock can be right twice a day, but news liars like the Washington Post are reliably lying every single minute of every single day.
They have lied so much, that anything they say should be construed as a lie. There is this long founded legal principle:
Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus.
If it's a logical fallacy, you need to hurry up and tell all the courts in the nation, because that is the rule they follow.
You can easily verify that many people debunked 2000 Mules.
He said specific things and they have all been examined. None of the major contested assertions has been proven to be correct.
Thanks for finding that.
Yep - gotta request them - at least in the current milieu.
I bet that if you checked, these particular "family members" will have no record of being sent a ballot.
But this is only so long as the attention of the election riggers in the election office is not brought to bear on these particular ballot requests. They may have already changed the records to tie up this bit of loose end.
It might be possible to prove whether these "family members" really did request and filled out absentee ballots, but the whole thing smells unlikely.
Good grief, what is your problem? Are you intentionally trying to be a douchebag or are you just a lazy ignorant az?
Google “Mark Andrews”, “2000 Mules”, “Lawrenceville, GA., alleged voter fraud”, “Dinesh D’Souza sued” etc.
Now do your own dam%ed research and quit pestering me.
Do you even readFree Republic? The topic has been covered here relentlessly since the stolen election in November of 2020. Did you miss all the polls cited?
And just ask yourself, does it make any sense that the corrupt, senile, obnoxious old pervert (he showered with his preteen daughter) could get 15 million more votes than the first *BLACK* president and greatest Democrat rock star in history? (Barack Obama)
Do you really think that more people liked Joe Biden than Barack Obama?
That is nonsense on the face of it. Didn't happen.
You cannot refute these 100% true facts:
1) Dinesh said various disputed statements
2) Many people have evaluated those statements and showed that they are false or unproveable
3) Dinesh has not debated with these critics
4) Dinesh’s financiers said the film was going to be pulled for inaccuracies
If Dinesh had real proof, he would have debated the critics. His statements were easily disproven. And he used a Moscow map as if it were from Georgia. This is blatant lying.
No one cited 2000 Mules in their court briefs, because they know it is not a solid piece of work. Only amateurs with no legal background think it’s legit.
“And just ask yourself, does it make any sense that the corrupt, senile, obnoxious old pervert (he showered with his preteen daughter) could get 15 million more votes than the first *BLACK* president and greatest Democrat rock star in history? (Barack Obama)
Do you really think that more people liked Joe Biden than Barack Obama?”
The population of the USA increased since Obama in 2012. There were millions more eligible voters. Additionally, you simply do not have any idea of how hated Trump is. The left wing is obsessed with him. TDS is very very real. Millions of people were not voting for Xiden. They were voting AGAINST Trump. They wanted him out, just as it appears people are feeling now about Xiden. There are tens of millions of people who do not like either party and they just shift depending who they hate more that year.
Your feeling about the total number of ballots cast is also not proof of anything. Your argument is 100% conjecture. It is not evidence.
“I hate to break it to you, but most people do not think the 2020 election was stolen by Biden.“
Abortion and stolen elections are apples and oranges.
Abortion is a matter of opinion - it is an issue that people vote on - and the majority gets their way.
Stealing an election is not a matter of opinion - either it happened or it didn’t. If it happened and it is allowed to stand, the Republic can’t survive.
