40% of 18 – 34-year-olds who made $40,000+ per year were married.”
Forty percent are missing, or maybe that 40% were both married and unmarried that year. Or maybe “unmarried” is different from divorced and/or never married. Or maybe divorcing bigamists. Or something…..
40% likely didn’t make over $40k/year.
Who’s to judge those who identify as other than either married or unmarried?
