Russia is expected to significantly increase the size of its military presence in Ukraine, with an additional 200-300 thousand troops set to join their ranks, according to Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov in an interview with Reuters.

The minister added that the current number of Russian forces stationed in Ukraine and along its borders stands at 500 thousand troops.

Umerov emphasized the urgency of mobilizing fresh recruits to facilitate the rotation of military personnel in response to the anticipated surge in Russian troop numbers.

"At this stage, we are focused on training our personnel ... pilots, we are focused on infrastructure, we are focused on bringing operational and maintenance teams and we are working on modernisation or bringing on more platforms."

Dedovshchina is the reason why the Russian conscripts are poorly trained and minimally trained.

“Sorry, but Russia does not get to dictate who rules Ukraine.”

Actually they do, and if they trouble achieving that soon, China will be MORE THAN HAPPY to help them out, as there is no way that China will allow the Neocons to overthrow the Russian government.

Zelensky’s offer was confirmed by Putin’s chief envoy to Kyiv. As for not having a warm water port, that is an accident of geography. Russia does not have the right to demand one because it would be a nice thing to have. Nor does it make much difference if NATO controls the Dardanelles.

Russia will not lose because china, the rest of asia, africa and latin america will give russia everything it needs to win, since all those nations know that if russia falls then the west will continue to spread the trans and child mutilation agenda on the rest of the world

One issue has nothing to do with the other. I hate the present US administration as much as you do, but that does not give Russia the right to invade another country.

"I think if you would have more like small nations... it is not a bad thing if the big power is actually [made] much smaller."

And who benefits from that? 🤔

Oh yes it does - it is SAME BUNCH that is using invasion as a weapon against America (and Europe, for that matter), and you’re going to tell us that wouldn’t do the same to Russia, a country they DESPISE nearly as much as the US.

Nice try.

And how, pray tell, is allowing Ukraine to live as free and independent nation an existential threat to Russia?

“... according to three people close to the Russian leadership.”

Story from REUTERS (an outfit that makes CNN’s reporting on Trump look honest), 3 people they will not name - NO ONE has spoken publicly. Reported 7 MONTHS after the operation started.

Please try harder.

Russia controls its own immigration policy, not the US administration. By the way, Russia already has a problem with a growing Muslim population because disparate birthrates between ethnic Russians and Muslims.

No country STUFFED with NATO Bases, CIA Bases, and Secret Biolabs, all run by foreign entities can be free and independent. It was either the Neocons running Ukraine, or the Russians, and Russia didn’t like the first option.

Didn’t think you had links - virtually every attack on Russia is unsourced, which is understandable, as they stem from emotion, rather than facts.
