Having supported the Republican Party even before getting engaged, I was becoming increasingly disenchanted.
Especially with their treatment of Trump. At least they hid their disdain for Reagan, because he was not a Rockefeller Republican. But then again he wasn't a treat to the GOPe.
They really are the stupid party. They are committed to the Country Club set who are their big donors that enables them to remain in power, even if it is as the minority party. In fact, I am convinced that they prefer being the minority party. Then they can deflect the criticism of what what goes wrong. It also gives them ammunition to raise money with hollow promises if we make them the majority.
Every time we give them that, they do nothing in the way of keeping their campaign promises. As we saw when they had total control of two of the three branches. If we can regain the two branches than we have three branched, and there had better no be no excuses.
Which is why we are now going after control of the party apparatus, because the Rockefeller Republican needs to go and replaced with people who love this nation and want to keep.
