NEW YORK, NY — In an outcome that was sure to shake the foundations of the entire country, the first criminal trial of a former president reached its close, as Donald Trump was convicted of being Donald Trump.
The verdict was handed down today in a New York courtroom, with jurors unanimously agreeing that the evidence presented by the prosecution overwhelmingly proved that the defendant was indeed guilty of being Donald Trump.
“It was an open and shut case,” said prosecutor Joshua Steinglass. “There wasn’t any way he could sit there being Donald Trump and just get away with it. We were given strict orders to hold him accountable for being Donald Trump, and that’s what we’ve done.
Justice has been carried out and he will now face the penalty for being Donald Trump, as he should.”
Public reaction, as expected, was heavily mixed, with law enforcement on hand to prevent any riots or unrest outside the courthouse. “This is the greatest moment of my life,” said Academy Award-winning actor Robert DeNiro. “We got ‘em. We finally got ‘em. Being Donald Trump shouldn’t ever be allowed. Not in America.”
At publishing time, Trump’s legal team vowed a swift appeal, with the possibility of the Supreme Court determining whether or not being Donald Trump is, in fact, a crime punishable by jail time or death.

I’m convinced this conviction is such a boost for Trump if he is sentenced with an ankle bracelet to wear when he’s not campaigning, he should ask for one for his wrist and he should wear it to all his rallies and wave it in the air while smiling and chant scam, scam scam. Ridiculing the conviction, like fake news, reinforces there are fake convictions and he was lucky enough to get one for free.

Cohen said that he billed the payment as legal services. Unless you believe he was lying about that, that means that they recorded as legal fees payments they believed to be legal fees.
Why wasn’t Trump’s accountant Weisselberg called? He’s already in prison. It would be easy to get him to testify. What would he have said that they didn’t want the jurors to hear?
If, as the cult alleges, the underlying crime was illegal election payments, then why did Merchan disallow testimony from a leading expert on election law, a former chairman of the FEC? Obviously, because he would have testified that (for at lest two reasons) Trump’s payments were not illegal under the campaign law Bragg was misusing.
Even David Boies said the prosecution was questionable, along with Dershowitz, Turley, McCarthy and other credible, nonpartisan legal experts.
But the Democrat cult is so blinded by their objective HATE for the man that they’ve been trying to do this since he came down that escalator.
