Vlad may be getting desperate despite all the news reports the Ukraine is on the cusp of losing. Then there’s the Ukraine victories we read about.
We only need to know that 2 years+ of fighting means Vlad’s not doing well enough.
Ukraine has lost over 170,000 KIA between January and May 31st in 2024. This puts their total KIAs at over 700,000 soldiers. Russia has yet to eclipse 100,000, but with the ops tempo they have now initiated they could well lose 25,000 a month while inflicting 50-60,000 KIA on Ukraine.
It has taken two years to bleed the Ukraine army of all its reserves. NATO wants to backfill the non-front line areas freeing up the totality of Ukraines AFU which now numbers 620,000 soldiers, down from 1.2M after 1M replacements in 2022.
Russia will not advance until it has wiped out the ability to Ukraine to move reserves into the breech to shore up the seven fronts. By the beginning of September all that rethoric about Russia’s failures will be replaced on the Map with them holding 50% of 1991 Ukraine and advancing.
Those 300,000 men set to attack Kiev area are there to remind the West that both major Ukrainian cities will be until total artillery fire control shortly. As for those wonder weapons in the Western areas of Ukraine, they will be destroyed about with the French, US and British operators who fire them at Russia.
In fact there are already reports that NATO soldiers are engaged against Russia again in the Kharkov region. NATO put them there as trip wire and they are fully engaged. Russia is making their presence a priority for “remains” in Ukraine forever option A.
Vlad is not the desperate one, it is the collective West as they sell their losing a war in Ukraine as the recipe for the rise of the Right against the Left. All those leaders who have pushed this war will be repalceed by the voters, starting in the US this November. Biden knows well losing in Ukraine is not going to play well for election campaign.
