Trump getting straight back to work, warns Biden to ‘buckle up’ as he hits campaign trail after guilty verdict

Donald Trump plans to immediately return to work Friday, a day after becoming the first ex-president ever convicted of felony criminal charges — while warning President Biden to “buckle up” now that he can focus on the campaign trail.

The former president, 77, is scheduled to speak at 11 a.m. Friday at Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan, where he is expected to again rip what he called a “rigged, disgraceful trial” that ended Thursday with him convicted of 34 felonies over “hush money” payments.

His campaign also had a warning for his 2024 rival.

“Crooked Joe Biden and the Democrats confined President Trump to a courtroom for more than eight hours a day for more than six weeks, and he’s still winning,” Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said in a statement to Fox News.

“Now that he is fully back on the campaign trail, Biden and the Democrats better buckle up.”

I am angry and at the same time worried

Even though desantis was my man during the primaries, this persecution of trump doesn’t sit well with me.

I am worried of what happens next. After the trial , in which I really didn’t expect a conviction, now I truly think the appeal won’t work and he sees jail time.

I’m worried and angry. We should all be angry

I think they will throw him in jail as I have no faith in the legal process and that faith went out the window during the judgment which I didn’t expect.

I want to see him do a scorched earth mother of all rallies and go directly to enemy territory and swing districts like he did in the Bronx. Watch the formerly silent and always degraded MAGA types show up but also fence sitters and the curious, probably more than a few hostiles.

He needs to relate his ridiculous conviction to THEIR lives of unfair treatment by the courts. He needs to point out over and over INFLATION, CRIME, AND THE UNFETTERED ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION INVASION. Their schools overrun with non-English speaking children who render teaching impossible. THEIR children.

Leave out stolen election and Crooked Joe comments. Stick to those three topics, over and over, Mr. Trump.

INFLATION, CRIME, AND THE UNFETTERED ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT INVASION.

“When Trump tells the judge to kiss his ass”

THAT would be the political ad of the century.

You think Merchan was bad. Take a look at Trump’s DEI hanging crew that awaits him on the first step of appeal in New York City, all black woman judge 1st Judicial appellate court. 96% of black women voted for the other guy last election. That’s why his team needs to consider Levin’s suggestion of trying to circumvent the NYS appellate system and apply for writ of certiorari directly with the US Supreme Court to review it

My guess is that if Trump does NOT drop out of the Presidential race, BIDEN WILL ORDER HIM JAILED...

Unless they were federal charges, Biden can't do that.

Trump is the only worry Biden has to think about he has damaged his party with his desire to show his power in the courts and it will hurt any democrat who is in the race for office.

Never underestimate Joe’s ability to fuck things up.

I was sitting here the other day watching tv….and all the political ads. Republican and Democrat. I looked at my friend and said…none of these Republicans are speaking to people like us. That pay our bills, put gas in our car, and buy groceries. They should be doing side by side hammering about when Trump was president and now Biden. Use graphics side by side. And the ones running for congress and the Senate are even worse. They say….I’ll shut the border down. Show the hotels with all the illegals in front of them in New York! Then say…they’re staying in nice hotels with free food and cell phones. They’re getting cash cards to pay for essentials. What are you, as a citizen getting? Oh, you get to pay for it all. What a bunch of pansy azz political ads I’m seeing from our side!

Biden’s “presidency” ended yesterday. Jailing Trump would make him Nelson Mandela.

I’m in with Levin - stay or no, an emergency SCOTUS hearing on the legality of states supeceding federal powers in litigating federal election rules is called for (example given: Bush/Gore).

If the NY ruling stands unchallenged a precident is set for any county or state to materially interfer in a federal political campaign by manufacturing conspiracies to suit themselves. This would neuter the policy that states can make their own election laws as long as those laws don’t conflict with Fed law.

So, Scotus needs to sound off toot-sweet. Otherwise, hello ham sandwich trials meant to bankrupt a candidate, where due process in trashbinned, where a minority of jurors get to convict by pick and choose charges from a menu the accused never sees, and where tyranny rules the day.

American injustice. A criminal fraud that never held a real job yet accumulated a fortune of over $100,000,000 in “public service” uses his henchmen to persecute his political opponents. He remains unindicted and unpunished. Yet history has shown something has to give. Justice, sometimes cruel in itself, usually prevails.

Yes!! Trump is on a roll now and should carefully stay away from saying or doing anything that would negatively affect the momentum. Continue telling how his new administration will change things for the good of the nation, that his people are even today finalizing their plans for day one in every area of concern. Maybe say who he has selected to do the job. Continue constructively criticizing Biden’s gross mistakes, some of which are actually treasonous and lining up Congressional support for his plans. Stay away from the petty stuff.
