IMO there is no way that Trump can run unemcumbered by both the conviction and the provisions of incarceration. It will take a miracle for him to win, and if he should that will create a crazy situation. He could be convicted and sentenced for a state crime over which federal courts have no jurisdiction and for which he could not pardon himself. We may see a situation that will make Jan 6 look like a panty raid at a college in the 50s.
