I suspect that these proceedings are very much in favor of both Trump and the US judicial system.
Because: he entire trial is an “in your face” violation of Constitutional rights. It is also corruption, in your face, of the worst kind that the judge’s daughter it profiting in a really big way from this trial. What is occurring there is equal in corruption, if not in dollars, to Hunter Biden’s corruption.
This trial along with the woman judge who stated in court that there is no 2Nd Amendment in her courtroom, should convince all that the NY judicial system is rotten to the core, otherwise both she and Merchan would have been removed from the bench long ago.Remember, it is Trump today and you or me shortly.
I think that when this is all over, there will be meany judges removed.
And I suspect that is why Trump is goading the prosecution in his various cases. Most people are very careful to not offend the judge, as doing so can make your punishment more painful.. Trump is daring them. Not many have that kind of courage.
